I have two of these lights one my compact 40 and one on my compact 45, only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a quick release you have to unscrew it. I have gone to the range with them a few times and have no issues with them getting lose or problems with the lenses ,they just get a little dirty but it cleans off. The light is bright and works well indoors also.

This is such a straightforward, low-tech upgrade. It takes about 10 minutes to install. Don't over-tighten the screws; remember to open the battery after you take it out of the package. It's not super bright, but it doesn't need to be. If it's mounted on your firearm and you are in a situation, trust me, the other person you are lighting up will know what happens next.

I ordered this for my Stinger DS LED and it doesnt fit. I dont know why the product descriptions can be better.
