the nut on the forehead plate that the pin screw that attaches the light to the plate is missing

I bought this assembly because I thought it would solve my problem. To wit, the Strion would only illuminate when the tail cap was screwed all the way in; I was not able to just click the switch to the on position. I was able to do that when light was new. Bought the assembly, but no difference. I'm totally lost. What do I try next? Should there be a spring in the assembly? Help, please!!! Certainly not the seller's fault: well-packed and good service. Advice, please!!!

High quality and great value as a complete rifle light kit. It has everything in the package to rail mount or M-Lok which is what I did, even has zip ties for cord management. Nice white high Kelvin light, You pay for lumens and if you read reviews that it’s “not bright” or “could be brighter” you must understand that the higher the lumen count the brighter and more distance the light will reach. Decide the range you’re looking to light up and match the lumen intensity and you won’t be disappointed. If you’re trying to light up a room, hallway, or a small backyard this works well, hunting hogs from a helicopter this wouldn’t be bright enough. For my intended use this was the lumen level matched to my purpose and the value, weight, size, and quality, are outstanding! Really a great all in one kit from an industry leader.

i bought this for my friend, and instantly regretted it, since he promptly blinded me with the powerful ray. future blindness aside, this flashlight is small, but mighty. it's durable and well made. it comes with a clip so you can put it on your belt, or loop it on your jeans, you get the idea...

my warning to you is - guard your eyes if you purchase this.
