Many negative reviews complain about the switch. Out of the box - can't turn it permanently on. Click the switch on - light turns on and off immediately, doesn't stay on. Tried holding it down - it turns on, nice and bright. The moment release it - turns off. I took the Li battery out, put it back in - and all of a sudden it fixed the switch issue. Makes no sense. Really like about the light:
1. Doesn't get hot (or even warm).
2. Goes to low setting with a single click and to high if double-clicked. Low setting is sufficient most of the time for me and it really lasts at least 5 hours.

8.5 hours of work - not realistic. The brightness goes down over time, and after 4-5 hours on low will need to recharge - not usable. But even that is impressive for the flashlight of the size. TO extend it - gotta buy a separate Li-ion battery from Streamlight (half the price of the flashlight!).
