  • I reviewed several other popular brand’s flashlights and lasers for my S&W M&P9c, but none of them had this flashlight/laser combo together and they didn’t look nearly as nice as this does when attached to your firearm. The flashlight is definitely the most important feature of this tactical flashlight/laser light in my opinion, but having a red dot laser incorporated into the same attachment is definitely a plus! It’s super easy to attach/mount to your firearm, taking less than 5 minutes, and it’s even easier to operate. It has a button on both the left and right side of the attachment that allows you to push the button with your index finger in order to turn the flashlight/laser on and off regardless if you’re right or left handed. It has three modes of operation: flashlight only, red dot laser only, or flashlight and red dot laser together. Each mode can be changed by pressing both the left and right buttons at the same time. The placement of where the button is located on the side is perfect for where your index finger normally rests when holding your firearm. Adjusting the red dot laser is relatively simple as well. You just use the included Allen wrench and turn each screw (one located on the bottom, which adjusts the vertical alignment, and the other on the side, which adjusts the horizontal alignment) clockwise/counter-clockwise. It’s always best to align your laser light while at the range so you can gauge the accuracy of it, but of course you can use any of the popular brand laser bullets to also help with accurately sighting in your laser light. I used the popular brand Boresighters while at the range to ensure best accuracy. Another convenient feature is the fact that the batteries are supplied with it, so no need to purchase any batteries just yet. I highly recommend this Streamlight for everyone looking to add either a flashlight and/or laser light attachment to their firearm. The flashlight is very bright and the red dot laser is very easy to see. This attachment doesn’t add any extra weight or different feel to my firearm in my opinion, and I love the tactical look of my firearm as well now. Another positive aspect of this attachment is that several popular gun and holster companies make standard and custom holsters for the S&W M&P9c with TLR-6 attachment. A couple popular companies that I used when purchasing a holster for my S&W MP9c with TLR-6 attachment was Dara Holsters for my kydex holster and Alien Gear Holsters for my adjustable/mountable holsters. In comparison to Streamlight’s competitors, the price is unbeatable and more than reasonable for what you get with the attachment. You can’t go wrong with this attachment, and you will definitely love the look and feel of your firearm.

  • better than an iPhone 16

  • Great little flashlight, but be aware that the photo shown for this product is the 3aa, not the 2aa. The 2aa does not have the integrated clip. Photo included, lighter for scale.

Great upgrade to what was a really good flashlight prior to the introduction of LED flashlights of in the last few years. I chose the E-Flood since I usually use this light as a general work light when working under the car or similar situation. There is a really good youtube video that shows step by step instructions on how to convert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkK7LFDePuw (cut and paste into your browser). I have included pictures of the old and new light assembly so you can see the difference for your self. The E-Flood produces a better wider light to see by.

  • I had the same exact flash light and purchased it a year ago. My USB PORT stopped working for a charge so I bought what I believed to be the same exact flash light. I feel I was ripped off. It is half as bright. I use this light for my job and the brightness is important to me so I’m extremely disappointed in the quality difference.

  • I am a nurse in the ICU...I use it everyday, and carry it when I’m not at work...it’s 11 lumens...not a lot, but enough to see in the dark and great for neuro checks...with the quad A’s it’s skinny and fits well in my 6mil clear vinyl pocket protector

This product comes with 4 different sized mounts that screws into the mount that clips into the accessory slot on your Construction hardhat S,M,L,XL The Flash lights used are Olights MR2 and Seeker 2. The MR2 fits in the medium clamp, its a snug fit. Its not moving. I use the MR2 with the Large as i use the flashlight belt clip to clip it on the Clamp so i can also take it off and use the Flashlight in hand when needed. The Seeker 2 fits the Xlarge pretty good with no movement if you are in-need of a lot of light power lol. I don't use this as its to much and heavy. With that you also have to know it will add weight to one side of your head and if it bothers you get 2 of these and use 2 flash lights to balance it out. You can use this mount up right and or flip up side down depending on the size of your flash light...Shown in photos Price wise - its OK. @ $15 but a little cheaper would be great and or offer 2 of these for $25 Longevity - we shale see how long it will last. I have a feeling the knob thing that tightens every thing up could fail after awhile as its all plastic but it is strong Poly Plastic. I feel like i can strip the threads. For Now it gets a 4 out of 5. A little cheaper on price and or if the bolt thing and knob were metal it would be a 5 and worth the price. But not sure if metal is good in some situations if getting shocked is a high risk for you. I Say get this. It works, it fits my flashlights, it fits my Hardhat snug with no movement, and its hard to find an accessory like this for your hardhat that will fit into the accessory slot on Hardhats. Im Very happy with this product. I would like to have another.

  • Very easy setup. The controls are great. And MAN IS THIS THING BRIGHT! I got the red laser because it is a little cheaper. Very satisfied with this light / laser combo. Build quality seems to be excellent. Currently living on my Dan Wesson Discretion, but I think I'll buy a few more as well!

  • I’ve had this light for a while now and so far no problems. Good dependable light, very simple in function, very tough. It is just slightly bulkier than its aluminum counterpart because of the lens housing. For the price, I would say it’s worth it. Just be sure to keep some spare batteries around. (lighter for scale)

  • Had it attached to a Sig Sauer 9mm P226 Legion, after the first 5 rounds at the Range, it snapped. I saw the pieces go in different directions and then to the ground. So the screw broke and the spring most have separated it... Not sure if it's poor quality but not expecting this from a TLR -8A since they a bit pricy. It's works, however the don't hold well.

This is a darling, mini flashlight, and if you love pink, like I do, you may be tempted to buy it. But be forewarned. I’ve been through three of these; two were replacements from the manufacturer so I’ve seen that my issue is not an isolated one and the reviews here echo my experience. it’s not so much that the battery life is almost nonexistent. You may get a flashlight with dead batteries in it. I used mine for about 30 seconds a few times a week, and the batteries would be dead within a few weeks. The replacements often arrived with dead batteries. The way the flashlight is designed is that the swivel you use to turn it on is the same one that you use to empty out the batteries which is completely impractical. My logic was to tighten it as much as possible so that the batteries don’t fall out but then I’m left having to untighten it every time I want to turn the flashlight on. The light on this is phenomenal, but when you factor in the almost nail battery life and it being completely unreliable, because of this, you’d be better off looking for something else. I probably left 10 messages for the manufacturer before I finally got someone on the phone who sent me two replacements. One had dead batteries and the other one died after using it a few times for only 30 seconds at a time, just enough to unlock my front door. Very disappointing because it’s so darn cute.

  • Only in need of the rear switch please send!!!!!!! otherwise I love the light

  • This is my second Polytac. I've been using the first one for around 8-10 years at work. It still works fine and I really like it. The only reason I bought this new one is that LED flashlight technology has advanced a lot since then and the new flashlight is much brighter. My old Polytac is 2 generations older than this new one. I got the Polytac X without the rechargeable batteries. I removed the belt clip. The belt clip breaks when you remove it, so make sure you don't want it before taking it off. The flashlight is light weight and impressively bright. I am impressed with its power. I am satisfied with this purchase, but I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are a couple of things that could be better. The most significant is the tailcap button. Compared to other similar flashlights, this button is uncomfortable and difficult to activate. There are guards around the tailcap that are obviously designed to prevent accidental activation. Unfortunately it makes intentional activation difficult. The switch on my old Polytac is much easier to access and press. My second complaint is less significant. This flashlight allows you to easily program what it does when you press the switch numerous times rapidly. I just wish it gave us more than 3 programming options. I would prefer the option of simply Hi/Low and skip the strobe setting. But this isn't a deal breaker. I use an old Surefire flashlight holster (see attached picture). Those holsters are great, so I want to keep using it. My old Polytac fits perfectly in this, but the new one is a little loose. I fixed that problem by putting a thin strip of duct tape around the base of the flashlight. Now it locks in securely. Duct tape is the solution to many of life's problems. This isn't a complaint, because you can't expect Streamlight to account for a Surefire holster. I'm just sharing in case you like using the same holster. Considering the excellent reliability of my old Polytac, I assume that this will be a good performing long term tool. In spite of my minor complaints, this Polytac is a good choice. ** Update in 8/16/2018 After using this flashlight for another week, I don't think I can deal with the tailcap issue. I struggled to activate the light quickly because the tailcap button is so squishy. Either this is a design flaw or mine is defective. I contacted streamlight and they told me to return it to streamlightoutlet.com because I'm within the 30 day purchase window. So I deducted a star and sent this one back. I ended up getting a Surefire instead. If it wasn't for the tailcap issue, I would have been thrilled with the Streamlight.

  • It's a stream light so you can already expect the quality to be there, so no problems on that part. The only problem is when I opened the streamlightoutlet.com packaging I can tell that the product was used and not brand new which I am kind of upset about, you can tell there's scratches on the tightening bolt and the original packaging was already opened. But besides that minor detail everything that was included came and seems to be functioning as intended. As far as longevity I am completely unsure of since it seemed to be used and returned already.

  • First things - I love the small size and for its size it’s great, just don’t get excited about that 500 lumen claim, it’s not 500 lumen for long it pretty quickly dives to like 200 according to the package. The spot is so huge it’s almost not a spot. Think that’s a biproduct of its small size/length. So yes I would buy it again. Just remember this is not a replacement for your 500 lumen tactical light. The useful throw is maybe 60 yards ( as is that a cell phone or handgun?) but it’s really in its prime at 30 yards. Kind of hand gun range. For its size it’s a great little light. When battery is going to go dead it’s pretty quick. I wish it was a more powerful light, but then it wouldn’t be the nice edc size that it is. It’s very lite, and small.
