As I was looking for a light, I went through a lot of Streamlight options, as well as some other brands. I ended up choosing the TLR-8 SUB! It feels very durable! It’s very bright for 500 lumens, and the red laser is very visible day or night. I can not recommend this product enough!

First off, I’ve owned many streamlight products over the years. Never had a problem until recently. For whatever reason, this TLR-8 sub for the SA Hellcat is a POS or they made this bad batch on a Monday morning, or Friday afternoon, idk, but QC has left the building. I’ve now ordered 4 from streamlightoutlet.com, and each one had issues. 3 of the 4, the adjustment screws for the laser didn’t work, screws were stuck (yes I followed directions to “carefully manipulate so as not to strip”, yet, no movement like the treads were siezed, & the extra small size allen wrench & adjustment set screw lends itself to stripping the internal allen hex out. 2 of the 4, the light wouldn’t work, but the laser would. The instruction manuel fails to tell you how to get the light to cycle between light only, light & laser, or laser only. I had to google to figure that out on the first one I purchased. Subsequently I called streamlights customer service to see (on the 2 of which the light didn’t work) if I was doing something wrong, and the guy that answered was a total
_ _ _ _ to say the least, so much for customer service. For the ones that the light did come on, it & the laser were extremely bright & give a clear sight picture. Very disappointed to say the least. I won’t be ordering a fifth… guess my search will continue for a light/laser combo.

This item came in used and non functional, this light came in a perfect box but the product really seems to be used and doesn’t work ! Send in request for return and still waiting to get my money back to purchase probably direct from the website or a different brand.
