I bought this flashlight for use at my full-time job as a Firefighter/EMT. I carry it in the right side pocket of my bunker pants and use it very frequently. I went with the warm white version as it is easier on the eyes and is less overpowering when using the light to check over patients, especially when the brightness is dimmed. Its also nice for less glare in smokey conditions. Ive used it on search and rescue operations, structure fires, medical calls, car accidents, you name it. One situation that sticks out the most was on a multi-vehicle car accident during a torrential downpour. The light has been submerged in water, dropped, stepped on, and tossed around in a pocket along with other tools for months now and it has never skipped a beat! It also keeps its charge for a long time. The only thing that I wish it had was the tail-cap switch that other stinger flashlights have. Other than that I have no complaints!

They keep making the Stinger larger. The oldest model was not exactly a mini light, but could be carried on a belt. The current standard model is both longer and wider (both head and tube).
This Color-rite version (higher CRI) uses the same head type as the “HP” models, so it’s even longer yet for some reason.
The beam is disappointing considering the main feature being a better LED. The spot beam is paler in the center.
I think this is the only Streamlight model with a “Color-Rite” LED for the main/only LED, and not a gimmicky secondary feature. Too bad they didn’t do it better.
