I recommend not buying the laser version. The whole purpose I got it was for the laser because i already had a light. Well the screws stripped when zeroing the laser and streamlight said to return it. Many other reviews on other sites say the same. If it wasnt 200$ more for the laser version i proabably would just keep it. I don’t know if they will update this design but the light and form seem nice. To bad.

I run one of these at 12 o’clock on each of my rifles, and I have never had an issue with them. My first one was zeroed at 7yards out of the box, which works well because you won’t be able to see it beyond that during daylight but it will provide a room-distance POA for most CQB applications without the need to look through an optic. Also works well for signaling/navigating. I recommend getting a laser color that is different than your optic dot color, as you will not be able to see both if they are the same color and anywhere close to being co-witnessed.
