   The new version of the Nano Light is plenty bright and feels solid. However, I can’t carry it on my keychain just yet. The head rotates way too easily, despite the o-ring, and I know that the light will turn on in my pocket. So I am experimenting with ways to make the head slightly harder turn down to the ON position, either by adding a fatter, o-ring or by gumming up the threads with a bit of Teflon tape or adhesive residue from a piece of masking tape. I’ve carried the original Nano Light years. The head takes a deliberate effort to turn, just as it should.

   Great flashlight to put on belt loop for every day carry, I had no trouble getting the AAAA batteries required either.

   I really like this small little light for use during the night without waking up my wife. Bright enough to see where I’m going but doesn’t flood the room and wake up my wife! It uses a AAAA battery which I had never seen before but I bought two from streamlightoutlet.com. The battery is supposed to last 12 hours but the one that came with the light lasted about half that time. When the battery reaches half charge it will not turn on the led, so keep some close by!

   Product was ordered on 06 January, shipped on 21 January, delivered on 30 January. This timeline is entirely unacceptable, especially considering the purchase was sold by streamlightoutlet.com and shipped by streamlightoutlet.com – no third party involved. Once received, my suspicion about the product was confirmed. This Nano 2 light is literally twice the size of the original Nano. Not at all ideal for my particular use – keychain carry. I don’t need a light that’s brighter than the Nano – I need a light that’s the same size as my old Nano. But the original Nano is no longer available. This Nano 2 was (finally!) received in good condition and it works. But IMHO the replacement of the original Nano with this Nano 2 is a failure by Streamlight.

   Nice upgrade from the original Nano. Was looking for a durable flashlight that ran on a battery instead of needing to be recharged. Don’t get me wrong, I like my rechargeable lights but I also like to have a backup light that can be brought back into service in a few seconds just by using a new battery. This light is bright, reliable and easily carried. Don’t leave home without it.

   Not worth the money. I have a lot of streamlight’s that are all top quality but this one is not! The head of the light was extremely loose and fell off along with the battery. It will need to have tape or something added to the threads in order to keep it tight enough from coming off.
