It’s like a steroid for your old and tired flashlight. It’s treated you right for years and provided you with bright, luminous glow on demand; but you can see it’s getting short-lived and grasping for life. Treat your best bud to a new lease on life. Upgrade its terminal innards today!

I purchased this replacement battery for my Streamlight Macrostream — unfortunately, it only lasted for 20 days before the lumen/candela output became less than that of my iPhone’s “light” feature.
Prior, I’ve used my Macrostream for three years before needing a battery replacement — this one lasted 20 days. And, the branding markings on the battery are actually slightly different from the branding markings that were from the factory.
I can’t fully confirm that it’s a fake — but, that is curious to note. Bottom line, I am not sure where I can find a trustworthy battery replacement now.

The flashlight works sooo well. I use it often and only had to replace the battery after a couple years or more.

That battery is good. That being said, don’t drain it all the way down. It may not recharge. Don’t drop it too hard. The components inside are fragile. They metal lead from the negative to the the top terminals is a weak point. It can be fixed with some wire and soldering. I’m still using my first battery after fixing it. That one is a few years old. That being said, the second one I purchased is dead. And that was not very old. I’m keeping this one as a charged backup. Unfortunately this only fits one flashlight. But the macro stream is a good flashlight that, when on its low setting, lasts a while. I wish they would have made it so one battery fits multiple models. It would bring the price down and increase availability. Just my thoughts.
