   This is a well made light. Used size C batteries. I use rechargeable NiMH batteries. It’s white LED bulb is bright, and so are its 6 UV LEDs.

   Not sure if the headline means much at all but we need to be able see in tight places, dark places, light brighter than ambient to see any kind of deformation or fluid. I have never had a complaint on any of my Streamlight flashlights and believe me….I have beat the crap out of them….my previous twin task only broke the glass lens after a 25 foot drop/fall. They are good flashlights. Training new mechanics at an airline..the light AND laser helped me point out which safety, fastener or component I was talking about quickly and accurately.

   The flashlight is well built and bright with 2 power levels. UV light is good for checking AC leaks with dye. Only small complaint is i wish the UV light could be brighter. This is also a massive light so can also be used as a baton stick

   I work in and industrial environment (Corrugated Box Plant) as a Mechanic. I use this flashlight constantly. The lazer is very very handy. I have used it so much since I have bough this flash light. The LED is super bright and i havent changed the batteries in 3 months… Streamlight makes very good flashlight.

   I was hesitating about buying this flashlight since it’s not a rechargeable one but if you can get past that like I did, you won’t be disappointed. I was using it without glasses for a bit and I was still able to spot uv leaks. The 3 functions it has is useful (3-6 UV led and white led) too.

   This is the fourth of these lights I have brought and I use them for Haz Mat response. The are great for detecting petroleum products at night time, using the UV light. The led light is also good and makes this a handy light. This one was for a gift.

   This light is totally worthless for ultra-violet use in an outdoor environment. The UV lights (6 bulbs) can barely show up against a blank wall in total darkness, even 1/2″ away from the wall. The white light portion does OK, but for the price you pay for this light, you can get better and brighter flashlights elsewhere. This is the 2nd light I received and will return as it is no better than the first one.
   Product description in the technical details portion states batteries included (but neither order came with batteries and the product packaging has no room for batteries.) The package states “Super brightness and ultra-long run time combination”; that might be true for the white light portion, but as far as the UV light goes, very dim is all you can expect out of this one.
   If you are looking for a UV light, this one is definitely NOT what you want.

   A clear upgrade from what I had before I purchased this flashlight. I do wish it said “Made in USA” and not “China.” Like my old non LED stinger that was lost/stolen. If it wasn’t for the fact that I purchased it through streamlightoutlet.com I wouldn’t have bought it either since I did have some issues with the first flashlight I got…. It only lasted about 4 hours before it drained the batteries completely. The flashlight construction is solid, white LED is bright, UV LEDs are at proper wavelength for Ultraviolet beams ( ideal for HVAC, Automotive, Crime Scene, cleaning freaks), and the design is classic. The second flashlight I got has performed satisfactory to its claims so far with old rechargeable C batteries I found in my storage. I’m happy that I don’t need to buy premium batteries like I did with the previous light….thanks streamlightoutlet.com for great customer service….. keep it up.

    This is the second one of these lights I have purchased in the last five years (at least) because I like them so much. I killed the first one when I “lost” it and then found it after the batteries burst in it. I use it for work for the intense UV light. Very effective even in daylight. Others I have seen need to be used in shade or darkness. If I lose this one, or if the batteries burst, I will definitely buy it again.

    Great flashlight a lot of fun to use the UV lights that are on the flashlight but it is also practical because it has a nice white LED with a very nice clean team that can travel a fair distance. The flashlight is not the brightest in the world but it does. Would recommend this flashlight to anyone that is looking for UV flashlight because of the multi function aspect of this flashlight
