I already owned a stinger DS before buying this light so I knew anything with the Streamlight name had to be good. When I first got it not gonna lie I was a little disappointed. I thought it was gonna be significantly brighter than the Stinger but it’s not. It’s brighter but not sooooo much brighter. But that’s not its main selling point it’s main selling point is the durability and the mass of the flashlight. Way lighter than the old maglites our fathers used to have but still heaving enough to have substance. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and tried to keep it new but working nights in law enforcement it was pretty much impossible but that’s the beauty of this light it really doesn’t care what you do to it, it’s works every time you turn it on! It will be the last flashlight you’ll ever buy…guaranteed.

I’ve had this flashlight for about four months. I work graveyard shift and have never dropped this flashlight.
This flashlight constantly turns off while I use it. When I take the battery partially out and put it back in, the flashlight will work for awhile, then turn off again.
I don’t see an option to contact the streamlightoutlet.com seller.
Please let me know if anyone else is having this problem or if there is a solution.
Thank you.

This is a great flashlight, However: it was delivered 12/18/17 but I have no idea where it is. Where was it left, was it stolen, was it delivered to a different location. It would help to know where AMZL left it.

Only gave it one star not because it’s not a good flashlight, I have a 30 year old SL-20 that I just put a new battery and bulb in and it is the best!!, but because it arrived and was broken upon arrival!! I charged it overnight and it failed to light at all not even a dim lite !! I immediately returned it as defective. Now streamlightoutlet.com was great they gave me a full refund and shipped it back no charge via UPS. So I really can’t say wether this is a good flashlight or not. I know my 30 year old SL-20 works like it did the day I bought it 30 years ago and I swear by StreamLites’. Maybe some day I will buy another one of these and try it out. Don’t NOT buy a StreamLight because of this. They are solid, well built, durable very bright flashlights that have easy access and use chargers. But I just got a bad one that was factory defective. It happens. I will continue to use my Old Reliable and maybe someday get it a new sibling!! My advise ! Buy Streamlight and deal with streamlightoutlet.com !!

These are worth the money. Very bright, durable… we have been using them for years and they never disappoint. The LED version has a much greater battery life than the original, which was also workhorse. I would recommend these for both professional use and use at home.

I bought this flashlight based on streamlightoutlet.com reviews and I can say, without reservation, that I have NOT been disappointed. I’ve been using it, off and on, for about a year. It holds a charge well and its range/field of illumination is absolutely amazing! It’s solidly built but not overly heavy, fits nicely in the hand and the strobe feature, should it be needed, is a nice option. Previously, I’ve owned MagLites, which are pretty nice flashlights as well, but the Streamlight 20603 SL-20L is definitely in a class of its own.

Brighter than the old ones, but not as well made.
My biggest complaint is the battery is so much smaller than the old ones. They should either make a larger battery (with more capacity) or a slimmer flashlight. There is actually a tube inside that fills the space between the narrow battery and the flashlight barrel. I telephoned Streamlight, and I asked why they do this, but they said they did know–interesting…
