I know what youre thinking. $85 for a small little flashlight? Is it really worth it? For the amount of property I have and what I’m using it for, this flashlight serves me well. I received this product over a month ago and have never charged it, yet it just continues to work well and stay bright when engaged. I use this every night and have used it to help a neighbor search for their dog for several hours over the course of a few days and still, it keeps going. Very impressed with the durability as well. Ran this through the dirt while completing some house projects and it held up great. Overall, very much worth it. Also, cat approved (see pic)

I am a truck driver & both settings light up under the trailer enough to make sure my fifth wheel is locked & my brakes are within spec. It is a nice, easy, compact design & doesn’t have the SOS/strobe feature as far as I can tell. It is as comfortable as a pocket knife in your front pocket & doesn’t drag too much in a shirt pocket. It feels a bit slick, bit I haven’t lost my grip on it yet. It has fallen out of the semi a few times as I have gone to climb out, the pocket clip got hooked on my seatbelt & it still works, didn’t even mar the finish on the XT. USB-C charging & it is decent for charging speed, maybe 2 hours when low. It lasts me about 2 weeks on a charge. It doesn’t get hot in my hand either, usually stays nice & cool to the touch, unless I leave it on the dash in the sun.

I purchased the larger version of this light and liked it a lot, but found it wasn’t well suited to casual EDC / pocket carry due to its length. Tried this version and while I miss the rotary switch, this one actually fits in my pocket and the longer battery life gives me some peace of mind during camping trips etc. I set it so the light is ‘low’ when first turned on which is bright enough for 90% of my needs, really like having that option instead of having to click through different modes to get to the one I want. Only complaint is I wish the USB C port had some kind of cover, afraid I’ll get a bunch of sand in there or accidentally smear it with grease while working under cars etc. The Flytanium Universal pocket clip fits these lights, highly recommended as the longer clip made getting the short light into my pocket a two handed task on occasion. Spyderco Delica 4 for size reference: length is comparable but the light is about 1.5 Delicas thick – enough that you notice it, but not so much it is a problem.

I carry my Streamlight wedge XT as my EDC. Once you get used to the programmable control button you can customize priority of Lumens and lock out. Battery lasts a long time and I haven’t charged it in a few months.

This a very mixed review. I love this light as it is compact and very bright. However, the light was on while in my pocket and the heat from the bulb was so great it melted the plastic lens. I have two service requests to Streamlight on their support website for a new lens, but have not received an answer.
