I love this little flashlight! I just slip it in my pocket or have it hold on the edge of my pocket with the attached clip. I always carry it, everywhere I go. The beam goes pretty far for such a little thing. It is bright when you need it but not so bright that it hurts your eyes. I’ve owned one for 6 years now. I recently bought another one when I misplaced the original.

Best pocket flashlight on the market. Uses one AAA battery, on/off button is easy to use. Durable housing, very water resistant. Dropped 100 times, still works great. Clip is cheap, always just rip them off. Purchased over 10 for employees, friends & family. Great light for EDC.

I have several around the house and in my Vehicle. The light level is just right. These aren’t bright lights they are just enough when you didn’t know you needed light. Tiny form factor allows them to be put in small discrete places. I keep them in every room and one lives on my Sun visor. The clip is very versatile including brim of a hat.
Absolutely one of the best EDC items I carry!! 1 year review Verified Buyer –

EDC. Clip in the corner of my pocket every, and use it way more than I thought I would. More handy than a cellphone light and brighter.

I love these little lights they work great for backup lighting and something to carry on you as an edc light. I’m a technician and always have one on me the only bad thing about them is you tend to lose them and the battery life isn’t terrific.

My. Favorite small flashlight. Great price. Very durable. Given many as gifts to very satisfied friends over the years.
Just great for the price.

I hike and backpack and have used this little flashlight on multiple occasions over the years. I use it as a general-purpose utility flashlight around the camp as well as – thanks to its hat clip – a headlamp when hiking in the dark. It is small, simple to operate, reliable, and most importantly, helps make my backpack lighter by being capable of playing multiple roles.
I got my first MicroStream in 2013, and I definitely prefer that generation of this flashlight. You can recognize those by the imprinted serial number under the model name. Streamlight stopped doing that at some point. In my opinion, the color of the LED was better – somewhat on a cooler side, but without such a pronounced green hue. I also prefer the wider beam spread of the previous generation with a smoother light falloff. I am attaching a photo to illustrate my points.
Having said that, I do believe that it is still a great flashlight and worth the asking price!

This would be my favorite little light for daily carry and for my intended use/needs (which are very basic). It is plenty bright, has a decent battery life for it’s size/output, takes a common AAA battery, and comes in under $20. I love that it can be used as a headlamp and allow for hands-free use. HOWEVER, I have now lost my second MicroStream because the pocket clip allows the light to ride upwards and out of my pocket. It wasn’t like I’m doing gymnastics when I lose them. Just wearing blue jeans and walking. That’s all it took both times. I will not waste my money on another one.
