   Streamlight is awesome–a part broke on the holder and they sent out a replacement part right away. Be careful not to overtighten the brackets. The light goes up high, just as stated, but at that height, it will wobble a bit. They have done a great job with legs to stabilize it, but it’s not a permanent light–this thing is portable, so it will move in the wind. Don’t overtighten and you’ll be fine. It provides incredible light and the beam is adjustable to spot and area lighting. The area lighting is better than any other flashlight I have ever seen. It seems like a lot of money, but when you get it, other people will want one.

   Great product. We purchased we purchased several of these lights for the Fire Department. We recently had a building damaged at night and used two of these lights to light up our work area while we shored up the building.

   Purchased as an alternative to generator powered light. Unit seems durable, a bit heavy but with a long life battery that should be expected. When the tower is extended to full height the unit becomes a bit unstable, even with outrigger arms in use. Fine for flat surfaces, but I would not put on a slope of any kind if the tower was to be extended fully. Comes with a house (120V) and car (12V) charger which is nice, we keep ours in the service truck at all times. No vibrations damage after 2 months so good news there. Price was a bit high, but if it lasts then it was worth it.

   I have had my doubts if I would get alot of use out of this scene light but I was delightfully wrong. This light will stay bright for 16 hours and sadly take 24—-26 hours to fully charge but it’s worth it especially when you can run the light off of an external power source! The 2 pictures I have attached are crude but they show the brilliance even during a snow storm. For everyone who works out doors and had a difficult job to do out there this is your work light!

   The portable scene light uses the identical LED lighting array found on the Streamlight Lite Box HL..an extremely useful light. This is a well-engineered and versatile lighting tool that could well prove itself useful during a power disruption or roadside emergency. I added black-colored, cloth, book-binding tape to its “plasticky” handle to increase grip and comfort. I also ordered an extra Streamlight power supply and cord as a backup. All-in-all this scene light is a worthwhile investment. A detailed pdf battery installation guide is available from Streamlight corporate through brightguy if needed.
