   The switch works great. It’s responsive, but doesn’t provide much feedback when squeezed. My biggest complaint would have to be about the two sided tape. They need to make it much stronger. I very carefully applied two switches to two different vertical fore grips and both would not stay attached. They fell off right away.

   I would recommend this over the coiled wire switch. Coiled wire switch is just too much in the way, possibility of getting tangled up in things. If you cant mount this switch somewhere comfortable within reach you need a shorter gun or longer arms.

   bought years ago. barely enough length to reach from the end of my AR to the pistol grip, works every click though. This is a hold for on type of switch (momentary) so dont expect to click it and forget it. Not a complaint as that is exactly what I wanted, just a heads up for others.

   The version that I received did not have the two screw holes on the ends like in the photo, strange. The coiled version did.
   That said, the tape does seem to hold it on firmly enough, I did clean both the switch and stock with rubbing alcohol first to get a clean bond.
   Several dozen 12 gauge rounds, including some 2 3/4 magnum rounds, and the TLR-1 and switch are fine and both firmly attached to my Mossberg

   I have a Streamlight TLR-2s Strobing Tactical Light / Red Laser Sight on my Beretta 92A1 and on my Colt M4 Carbine. A Remote Tape Switch isn’t necessary with my Beretta 92A1. But with its placement on my ColtM4 Carbine, a Remote Tape Switch allows me to keep my hands in place to operate my M4 and still use the TLR-2s’s light, laser sight, or light and laser sight functions as needed, when used in conjunction with the Streamlight TLR Remote Door / Switch Assembly. At approximately 8 inches in length, this switch can be plugged into the Remote Door / Switch Assembly and the flexible wire permits the Remote Tape Switch to be positioned on your long gun where you can use it very easily. You also receive several thin wire straps and a double-sided tape pad to hold the Remote Tape Switch where you want or need it.

   I didn’t read description well enough, maybe this will help others from same mistake. This is just the switch/pad it doesn’t have the housing. It comes with double back tape and zip ties. However it did work for the little time I had it before returning it. I couldn’t justify the time/money experimenting with housing kits.
