   The rechargeable 18350 streamlight battery was missing out of the package and the package was opened on its arrival. It does take CR123a batteries as well which I had laying around, but did not come with everything I paid over $100 for. Moderately disappointed in that aspect however the item performs as descirbed.

   I bought one a few years ago. No idea how many I have now… at least 8. It’s my go to for a long gun weapon light. The laser is crisp and it has great light coverage. I run it with rechargeable batteries and absolutely love it.

   Very easy to install and the white light is very bright. The red dot is easily visible as well. Adjusting the red dot is a bit tricky, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! If you turn the adjustment screws too far you can break it. It’s very easy to have the light on temporarily or all the time. My only complaint is that you don’t seem to be able to toggle the red dot on separately. They are either both on or both off.

   Nice laser and light combo. But does not hold zero on an AR platform. After a few rounds it is out by 2 to 3 inches at 50 yards.

   The beam is not as neutral, more cold blue light, as my other Stream lights. The laser is not bright enough for any real situation and the laser is blurry. The light is powerfull, but so much that the laser vanishe when at full power. The construction is super tough, but this add to the weight and it make it bulky. This flashlight is huge, bigger than anticipated when looking at the pictures. Overall, it feel like cheap electronic component in a sturdy casing.

   I returned it for the HLX without the laser, and I am very happy i did. Zeroing the laser the way i had it attached to my rail was extremely difficult. If you want the laser closest to the barrel, on the right side of the weapon you will not be able to access both adjustment screws for the laser windage or elevation, only one. This made zeroing it a pain, it was heavy, bulky and doesnt offer the scount mounting options the normal hlx does It IS a good light and good product, if a laser is a must buy this, however the normal HLX is more value for the $ and weighs a lot less

    I have a number of streamlight protacs on my pew pew poles – always happy with them

    This model has a laser – which you should know adds to the overall girth of the flashlight and a bit of weight. Wasn’t an issue for me but anyone who runs the standard HLX should know
    I am not sure if laser if adjustable (zero’able)
    Will prob never is the laser – this model was the only one in stock

    This light is great. I have the older model HLX pro and this one is just bigger in size but not noticeably heavier. I got this one specifically for my slug gun and it has held up just fine to heavy recoil use. Streamlight in my opinion is just as good as the more expensive Surefire brand. I’ve had several of both and the only differences between the two brands is the logo and the $$$. The only thing I don’t care for about this particular light is that to my surprise it came with a built in laser that I don’t remember seeing anywhere in the description. I don’t care for lasers much but I did sight the laser in at 20 yards for buckshotting at close range and the laser has held its zero just fine🤷🏻‍♂️ This light is 100% worth the money. You get what you pay for.
