HLX-Pro is a huge improvement over the HL-X in regard to switching and hotspot at distance. Uses standard 18650 or CR123 batteries. I honestly like this light better than my Surefire DFT because I don’t lose sight of whatever is outside the hotspot on the Surefire Turbo. HLX-Pro is probably best rifle light for the money on the market as of Jan 2024.
If Streamlight would get rid of the proprietary plugs and switch to Crane plugs, all would be right with the world*.
