   I bought this tlr6 as my first real gun flashlight and got to say first purchase I’m not so happy with by the fact that my brand new one came with a already stripped screw, so makes it useless to have because I can not put it in my hellcat without the screw out. Trust me I’ve been trying other tools and bits to get it out even elastic and it will not work, I will try to give it a return and get a better one.

   So after shooting and realizing it wasn’t holding zero I re read the manual to see if maybe this was human error. Adjusted so many times, loosened the screws to look into this thing, reassembled and tried to do more trial and error. Looked at it tonight after having observed something with other things with a olight product and found this product was made cheaply. I own one streamlight product that has issues, but that’s a shotgun light and nothing more. This, however allows for adjusting a laser. I don’t know how this happened as I own many, many gun accessories and this is a first time that the actual screw holes and a screw stripped after shooting for target practice.

   Great fit to the Hellcat and only protruded a small amount from the front of the slide. Not fond of the switch location and selection method of light/laser/both but I will default to laser and only use the light when I have time and need it, with the laser being a backup to my Holosun optic.

   Love this light. Placed it on my Hellcat and it fits perfectly. It doesn’t go past the barrel and isn’t wider than the firearm itself. The light is decently bright (although I have a brighter one) and the laser option is a nice addition. It has windage and elevation adjustments. I would recommend calibrating the laser at 25 yards. As you move forward or back the laser will change from the sights. If you need a laser closer than 25 years, you need more shooting practice. If you are shooting a pistol further than 25 yards, why are you in that situation. Plenty of holsters for this light system.

   My favorite accessory for my hellcat to date !! I carry it daily and even got the holster off streamlightoutlet.com that fits it with the TLR-6 and I carry them both daily . Put the 1911 away and carry this now ! Great and so far the laser holds great device isn’t loose at all so maybe ones complaining about that did it wrong possibly because mine is great . Battery life is even great . Just wish I had gotten the green now for daytime because red is a little tough to pick up unless you run RDS and then it’s like having two dots one for each range my laser is 25yd& RDS is 50 so you can use both depending on situation. Sorry to ramble it’s just a great item I can’t say enough but I’ll stop now !
