   It does light things and works as expected. Not nearly as bright as my surefire x300u (i mean what did you expect? Its a tiny light..) but it works. Great for late night walks to the fridge or finding the quarter that fell down the side of your seat in the car in the dark 👍🏽

   With no mounting rails on my G26, this accessory is east to install. It has a cool design that uses the housing of the light to clamp positively onto the trigger guard. It’s ambidextrous so no matter what hand you have available, it’s easy to operate. It’s not going to see who’s across the field, but what would you even do about it if it did? It’s a dern pistol sight for crying out loud. It lights up a room in the house or barn just fine. For the money, it’s a steal.

   Works as expected. More sturdy than rail lights, but requires a wrench to install/remove. Easy access to battery compartment without removing light. 100 lumens seems dim, but it’s enough to see by in any condition. Excellent product.

   This is such a straightforward, low-tech upgrade. It takes about 10 minutes to install. Don’t over-tighten the screws; remember to open the battery after you take it out of the package. It’s not super bright, but it doesn’t need to be. If it’s mounted on your firearm and you are in a situation, trust me, the other person you are lighting up will know what happens next.

   Don’t get bent out of shape over the 100 lumens. It’s plenty bright indoors. I can see well enough at 50 yrds outside. I have no street lights where I’m at, so it’s really dark, for what that’s worth. Would highly recommend considering there’s not many light options for the G26, and even less companies that make light bearing holsters for the G26.

    I’m a police officer and our weapon policy does not allow lasers so when I ran across this model I was pleasantly surprised. I already have a TLR6 on my Glock42 that I turned the laser off but being able to buy one without the laser was even better…. And cheaper. I added this to a Glock 26. I have long fingers but even so the reach with my trigger finger is a bit much. I have developed the ability to use my support thumb to activate weapons lights and this light is no different and works well with that technique. They are not the brightest light but certainly better than nothing and certainly enough to light a target and mess up their vision. What I like is the size, weight, and length…. Or lack thereof. The holster does not have to extend past the gun so carrying IWB and especially appendix is much better. For not having rails on my 26 this was a great addition and I’m very pleased with it.

    So the light does require a tool to mount. Once on, it doesn’t have to be removed to replace batteries. The light produced is enough for the use. It’s not blinding, but it’s more than adequate for target ID. I beg to differ from others that this light is not bright enough; it’s not meant to illuminate 200 meters away or to cause retinal damage as an undocumented feature. It lights up a target, that’s it and that’s enough. The switch is not the most ergo friendly, but it will work. Training is crucial to proper employ.

    The light is great and does what is intended for, also fits nice and flush but if you truly plan on adding this to a subcompact CC be warned that it doesn’t really produce enough lumens (it produces 100) to overpower an adversary in a self defense scenario. At close quarters range it could be effective to about 10-12 Ft but statistically you’re gonna have a range of 7 to 10 yards in a true life threatening situation and you are gonna want a light that blinds or subdues a target to render their capabilities of returning accurate fire near to impossible, something 600 to 1000 is much more appropriate in that situation but this light is great for night shooting at the range or to throw on a home defense designated pistol. Added bonus is it looks cool and that always adds points lol.
