          For the money, I think this is highly recommended if you have the Stinger DS flashlight. Makes using the flashlight easier, and more ergonomic. Not necessary if you are comfortable using the front switch, but for me, the way I hold the flashlight, I find the tailcap switch more ergonomic.

          This will turn from what I understand any Streamlight stinger into a dual switch. I attached this onto a regular Streamlight stinger HL and it turned it into a dual switch flashlight. 100% worth the 20 bucks. Would buy again.

          As I was trained to use a thumbcap flashlite I was happy to see this device, and read a review that it would work with older Stinger models. It did not work for me and I tried it on multiple lights. Too bad. Had to return it.

          This tail cap is perfect is your button has been worn down through use and does not work or if you purchased the light without the tail cap button but wish you had one. It is a great value and a great accessory for your streamlight stinger.

          I have an older Stinger LED HL, with only the top button switch. I took a chance & bought this tail switch to have both. Threads fit and now have both a tail & top-of-cylinder on/off/strobe switch. The unit functions as it did before, but with an improvement.
          A tactically significant improvement. With a $20 upgrade, I didn’t have to buy a new flashlight.

          bought new tail end cap switch, to replace my old tail end cap switch. Installed new one, and it has the same exact problem! I click it on, it does not stay on. Took it all apart, trying to find the fault… GOODLUCK trying to put it all back together… HAD TO INSTALL TAIL END CAP.. fawk that tailend switch! it’s just another failing point… what a waste of $20!
