   Ya tengo más de un año con esta linterna y sin ninguna falla, la uso todas las noches ya que me dedico a la seguridad nocturna y la luz es superior a los modelos anteriores de las linternas Stinger, lo único malo es que por la forma que tiene es difícil conseguir una funda que le quedé y hasta la fecha la tengo sin funda, en el vídeo la intencidad de luz empieza bajo,medio,alto a una distancia de 40 metros.

   Firstly, the lumen rating is legit. Easily the brightest flashlight I own. Second, the overall size was larger than expected – my bad for not examining the images closer for scale, but the ergonomics are excellent allowing flexibility in either hand and using a p!stol.    Accus könnten etwas mehr Volumen haben. Bei 2000 Lumen gehen sie recht schnell in die Knie.
   Würde sie aber wieder kaufen, da die Vorteile die Nachteile überwiegen.

   It is very nice and works great, but it’s a lie that it does not roll when you set it down on a slight lean fast, quick, or normal speed. Unless you set it down very gently it will roll on an uneven surface almost every time, but at that point you can do that with every flashlight if you set it down gently, so why pay more for a flat-handle flashlight? The ergonomic sucks for me, and I have big enough hands. I catch myself having to reposition my hands every time. On normal deployment my hand lands short from the button, and I have to reposition to grab it comfortably and reach the dang button. As for the rear button, I prefer to have it upside-down with the beam switch facing the floor for better ergonomics. The problem with that is that whether it is right or upside-down, my finger is always in a slanted position, and it’s not straight on the groove, so its a little uncomfortable to push the button because it’s indented in the groove. If i place my thumb on the rear grove to press the button like they expect you the handle is uncomfortable because the flat handle is on an angle at that point. FYI, this model loses the strobe light. I know it sound like I’m crying a lot, but i use my equipment a lot and expect it to be durable comfortable. So for all the pro’s, I love the brand and have other Streamlights flashlight because of their durability and easy compatible charging system. I love that i do not have to warry about plastics falling off because the need of opening them to charge the light or that fact that most stop working after a fall or sudden impact. These are very durable and made to last. You can buy one and last year’s with it rather than buying cheap flashlights every few months or paying for batteries every time. This is a brand that will last, and you will probably like it so much that you will keep buying this brand in the future. I have not given up on this model, and I’m hoping I can get used to it. If I don’t, It would still be used in my bug-out bag, and it would be replaced with one of my other Streanlights models.

    I’ve had many many lights over my 23 years of patrol. This is a great light. NOBODY makes this type of ergonomic design. Hard to explain, but it’s like holding a pen. It’s amazing in your hand and you’ll wish you bought it sooner. A lot is covered about the light in other reviews. As you can see in pic, I added some rubberized grip tape to the area where the light naturally held with your hand. The ergonomics are awesome. Just add some rubberized tape to the ergo area and it’s perfect. Not much info in reviews about compatible holsters. If you’re looking for a high quality holster for molle for this great light, the one from zero9 holsters is the winner. Check them out. Took a few to find the right combo, but zero9 wins. They also have a belt version. Pics attached. Update after being used on patrol as primary light for over a month on graves. It’s running solid. Even after numerous drops. The light is built solid. Very happy with this design. I’ve been asked about it from others I work with. Now several are running them. Great job Streamlight. Another update another month later. This light is pretty tough. We’ve all had various items roll off our lap and onto concrete when getting out. Maybe just me haha. It’s definitely cop proof for this cop because I drop crap all the time. It’s also one of the few Streamlights still made here in the USA. A majority of the Pro Tac series are made in China. I learned this as my son started his career. He ordered a ProTac light for his duty rifle. “Made in China”. Disappointed in Streamlight. But, they still make a ton of lights here at home… All Stingers, TLR weapon series, SL series, intrinsic/fire lights and some specialty application lights are still made here at home. Light lasts my 1800-0600 shifts no problem with heavy use. There’s a subdued battery status light under the front button that lets you know green, yellow or red. Regarding charging. These WILL recharge in all previous Stinger charging cradles (12v or 110v cords. The Stinger 2020 cradle that is also for 110v has what Streamlight calls a “propriety” port/cable. Ehhhh, nope. It’s micro usb. They have a little nub on their branded micro usb cable that “locks” in place. Not really. Don’t think you need to buy a bunch of new cradles and cables. ANY micro usb will work with the Stinger 2020 cradles. And for all those guys out there with older charging cables and cradles that use the rectangular two prong connector for 12v and 110v, those work fine with the new cradle as well. So, in my humble opinion, if you have an old Stinger cradle and charging cable at home, get the a less expensive version and use your current chargers. I’m the type of person that opens crap up and looks inside. I had an old Stinger cradle. I ordered a stinger 2020 with the cradle (and micro usb). Once you remove the two Phillips screws on both of them, the boards are almost 100% identical. The only difference I could find was the integration of a micro USB port on the stinger 2020 version. Otherwise, the board is absolutely identical. And that’s when comparing it to a cradle from 10 years ago. With the right holster, you will be happy with this light. That’s coming from a picky salty sgt ha. I added a video of real world 0300 ish hours use in semi rural area that hopefully helps you guys out. This is not a thrower. This is absolutely ideal for patrol. Another update 6/20/23. Still super impressed with this light. I work Graves 12 hr shifts. This is my primary light throughout the shift, and a good majority of the area I work in is rural and dark. Even after a night of way above average use, I still have plenty of power on the medium setting. I charge the light after each shift since you just don’t know what the next nights demands will bring. If you have a light that you are always worrying about going dead 3/4 through your shift, that’s not happening with the sucker. Can always top off in the car, but I haven’t had to do it yet after several months of truly hard use. Another nice thing is the factory side grips (and rectangular shape on the rear end) make holding the light under your arm pit really easy. No slipping at all. I don’t normally write this many updates, but I have not found a fault with this light yet. This is coming from a guy who has very high expectations for lighting. It’s a winner! Hope this helps.     I am a flashlight-aholic. I always carry one on me and possibly two of them. And at work (Patrol Officer) it’s no different. I have in the past been more susceptible to going against the norm and buying gear that’s not what everyone else wears or uses. And that’s what I have done in the past with flashlights. But I really needed a light that had characteristic specific for patrol work. And this characteristics are very unique and hard to find all together in a single package. Afte researching for weeks or months I finally decided to pull the trigger on trying the latest Streamlight Stinger 2020 out. 90% of the patrol officers on The graveyard shift use some type of Streamlight or Surefire. I’ve always loved surefire but not enough to justify spend $400-$700 on one. Not happening. I ended up getting my Stinger 2020 and after my first shift wirh it I fell in love with the thing. It’s bigger than any other light I’ve owned or used and I actually love it. Its shape, weight, and it POWER! Oh boy! The Power is phenomenal. And the lowest setting it perfect for normal tasks while the length is perfect to tuck under and arm pit while wearing a vest carrier to free up your hands while writing a report or searching your pockets. I give this light a 9.5/10. I would give it a 10/10 if there were actually any options in the form of holsters for this damn light. It’s shape makes it unique and won’t fit your universal light ring holsters. A custom kydex would be perfect but I’m can’t find one anywhere. What would be even cooler is if this holster was able to also charge the light while it was inside it. Now that’s a 11/10 stars just waiting.
