   I love this things. I use it every day when taking the dog outside since we have poisonous snakes where we live.
   Because it can be used separately from the headband I would say it is the most useful flashlight I own.

   This is the $44.00 aviation light,at 65 I don’t think I’ll be going back into the military,so I didn’t need all the bells and whistles with the military version.this little light is plenty bright for working on cars or at your camp

   This is a great light. Compact, bright, and lightweight.

   Mine didn’t come with all of the parts. The lithium battery and helmet mount that were supposed to be included were not. Mine came from streamlightoutlet.com warehouse deals (returned products). By the time I buy a CR123 battery and the helmet mount and wait another week for it to get here, I may as well have gone new.

   As I said, the light works well and preforms as it should, but I would recommend getting a new one.

   O ring seal for battery cap too big, it pushes out of place when screwing on cap. Other than this issue it’s a great product.

   Built well, although a hair less durable feeling than my other two sidewinders. Maybe it’s just the lighter weight in the hand compared to the full size sidewinder? Turning the light selector dial is not as confident as the full size model, as in when the dial clicks i to position. Slightly loser tolerances. But regardless still a great light which will out perform other want-to-be tactical lights.

   I did realize during several hurricanes that these sidewinders are great room illuminators. Put the selector on blue or green and you have nice ample illumination for days.
