   Great replacement rechargeable batteries. BUT Does NOT fit in my Pro-tac HL TEN TAP. The description is misleading as this does not fit “standard CR123” batteries. This rechargeable battery is fatter than CR123. I almost didn’t purchase these because the pictures look like “AA” size batteries instead of double-stacked CR123a. I’ve included some side-by-side references so you can see that these are the same length of two CR123’s but they are fatter than a standard CR123. I also stripped the wrapper off of one to see if it would fit the ProTac HL. Nope. But here is a battery picture with the silver wrapper removed.

   This is definitely the way to go for me. I have rechargeable and I keep some CR 123 on hand. I like the rechargeable because you will definitely save money.

   Inaccurate description of product. I purchased from this same seller before and I received the blue batteries (right) back in 2017. I was happy and I still am with the blue batteries they are reliable and have lasted me a while (almost 2 years). As long as you don’t over charge them. More recently I purchased these GRAY batteries(left), yesterday 10/04/18 . I do not want the gray batteries, if I did I would have purchased them back in 2017 when they were also sold then. Obviously the pictures of the product need to be updated because if not this is an inaccurate description of the batteries. Basically the seller is deceiving people. The consumers should get what was paid for nothing more and nothing less.

   As a retired Police Officer i know how important your light is when working on the street. It is an essential tool to keep you safe. With these type of batteries they dump a lot of power to give you high lumens and throws the beam very far. Having spare batteries ready to go reassures the user that he has a backup just in case he didn’t charge their flashlight.

   These battery’s hold a full charge for a long time. This came with two battery’s and I only neede one, so I leave one in the charger (unplugged) fully charged. When the one in my Streamlight begins to get dim, I simply swap them out.

   I’m now a huge fan of rechargeable handheld tactical lights. I keep one battery in my light and one on the charger in my car. I can constantly have a charged battery in the flashlight to maintain maximum lumens. Rechargeable battery technology has come a long ways.
