This is a very powerful flashlight with many uses. I always keep mine waiting in the charging station so it is ready to go if needed. The light is a little heavy, but needs to be due to the rechargeable battery. I haven’t ever used it until the battery died, so I can’t tell how long it will last on a charge. However, it has never run out on me. Keeping it in the charger does shorten the lifespan of the batter pack, but I still like to know that it is always charged.
