   When I got the flashlight I couldn’t get the light bulb section off to put in the batteries.
   So I haven’t been able to use it and bought others. Very disappointing.

   I keep flashlights in the kitchen, the primary bedroom, and our cars. This flashlight was in a kitchen drawer and I guess the constant pressure of the three C batteries caused the top of the screw on part to fracture over time. I tried superglue with rubber bands to hold it while it dried but when I removed the rubber bands, the top separated within hours. Poor design. I replaced it with a brighter LED flashlight since this one was not very bright. Disappointed in the (lack of) longevity for this pricey flashlight.

   This LED flashlight is just OK. It’s not as bright as I expected, nor as bright as a compact LED flashlight with a SINGLE 1W LED.

   This was an exact replacement for one that I purchased more than 10 years ago when LEDs were first introduced. I had dropped it and it quit working so I purchased this one to replace it. As it turned out when the old flash light hit the floor the impact bent the batteries so that they would not make contact with the lamp but the flashlight was not harmed. When I replaced the old batteries the old light still works. Since the light will shine continuously for hours in all type of conditions it is my emergency light. I decided to keep the new one as well. The new light of the same quality and cost $10 less than I paid for the old flashlight. Great value and one tough flashlight.
