   This magnetic base does not work, even WITHOUT the required 3-D batteries. Don’t waste your money like I did. As of 9-18-2024, there is only 1 of 9 reviews viewable. The magnet IS NOT strong enough. It’s a scam!

   This replaces the standard Base battery cover on the full-size Siege (3x D batteries). Because of the large magnet, it loses a D-ring – and gains a second notched handle. Comes with a warning leaflet not to place near other objects sensitive to magnets.

   Bad:
   Smaller rubber feet for your Siege to rest on, possibly resulting in less grip/stability on flat surfaces.
   Thicker. Increases the height of the Siege by a few millimeters.

   Good:
   STRONG magnet. Seriously. Even with the added weight from 3 NiMH rechargeable D batteries this modified Siege stays in place magnetically.

   The magnet on the base is super strong. I was pleasantly surprised at how much force it took to get it off the side of my metal cabinet.
