This head lamp throws a lot of light, it is intrinsically safe, and it comes with two different straps so you can wear it on your head or on your hard hat. I have nothing bad to say about it at all. It is really that good. I use it when I have to do confined space entry, I wear it when working outside at night with fork trucks around, I even use it inside dim industrial buildings to get a better look at something and not strain my eyes so much. It is very durable, I’ve been using this for over a year now. It doesn’t use batteries very fast. Overall, it is great.

Great light for use on a hardhat. It is fairly heavy compared to other models since it uses AA and not AAA batteries and you do feel it but after a week I was used to it and have no issues.

I do lots of things outdoors, at night. Hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, farming, etc. I own several other Stremlights, the Black Diamond ReVolt, and several cheaper lights. This light beats them all in brightnes, durability, and how far the beam reaches. The head straps are quite good, and seem to wear well. The light beam itself is more focused, with a very clear, defined edge. The batteries last a long time. The one drawback is the weight, but I solved this by using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries… I get a better operating environment temperature range, longer stored life, more comfort, and better run time… albeit at a higher price. Very highly recommended.

This is a decent headlamp for the price I bought it for…. I wouldn’t spend much more than $40 for it. It is intrinsically safe (explosive environments) which is great, but not needed for me. The selling point for me was it uses AA batteries, which have more bang for the buck than .
It’s very well made, has a great bright light, etc. My main and only gripe is it is not adjustable. It was 1 power setting, and no way to adjust light. It does move up and down, but that is it.
I have access to unlimited AA batteries, so its great for me to never buy a battery for it, but were it not for free batteries I would not be as happy.

I bought this product based on the appealing features listed. However, I consider this product is not bright enough to work in the dark. This headlamp is a little bit too heavy. After a long extended time, it is not very comfortable. It is also too big to work in the confined space.
Otherwise, it is a pretty good product.
