   I love that this headlamp can be set so the low lumen red light turns on initially. Too many lights that I’ve owned in the past require you to cycle through an array of white light levels including a flashing mode before getting to red. As an avid night photographer having a headlamp like this one that I can set to start up in red light mode is awesome. And with the built in USB chargeable battery it’s super lightweight. A brilliant design and implementation of a night vision preserving headlamp. If there is a negative, some folks might find the fact that the light angle is fixed and not adjustable. This isn’t an issue for me. I feel that the fixed angle it comes set to is spot on. Great job!

   Has two brightness levels for both red and white light. Finding the on/off switch takes a little practice. It is very compact and seems to hold charge as needed. Have not put the battery to a stress test to measure its life. Used this when doing night photography and it was superior to my Petzl which can be to weak for navigating a dark trail. My friends have decided to get these to replace their current headlamp.

   The only problem with these is that you will want to keep one handy in every vehicle, go bag, and dog walking kit. I have a set dedicated for dog walks, mine goes on white and the dog gets hers in red. She loves having her own head light to run around the neighborhood with.

   Recharges through mini usb in a few hours…but I use mine for aviation. The absolute BEST thing is that when you set it to red – it turns on and off on that color. A second click is a brighter red. 2-stage white and 2-stage red makes it excellent. It also tilts. Tilt up for broad lighting, and turn down to provide more direct lightings. Automatically comes with the ability to clip to the front of my ball cap OR use the thin elastic strap. Just perfect for my use.

   Absolutely love this product. It sends a very wide swath of light to light up whatever activity you are doing. It is not a spotlight come on that’s perfect because that’s not what I need and in a headlamp. Pro. Has to brightness settings in white light, and red. when you switch to read, and turn it off it will come back on read the next time. Same for white light. Super lightweight. sometimes if you have it on in the brightest white or red setting on your head it will shine into your eyes. This is remedied by moving the headlamp a little higher on your forehead. all in all will definitely purchase again.
