   Very much like the light. As long as you need less than half of your shift good light will keep you happy. I started needing 2/3 plus and it wouldn’t make it through the entire shift. I like it enough that id probably order a second unit if I wanted 8 hours of good light per shift.

   I have a black diamond polar icon for multiple full night route finding ( think SAR/ off trail night backpacking /etc). Which if you need that level I highly recommend. It’s two issues being cost and effectively 1 pound weight on your helmet vs a couple ounces for the banditpro.

   Go for the Pro ! It’s got a great battery life. If you are one of those folks who sweats… ALOT, you’ll love the rubber hard hat band. I use it without the hard hat and don’t have to worry about sweat breaking down the elastic bands on most headlights. It charges back up quickly. I’m really impressed with the performance.
