I’ve added one of these in blue to my bag for a handy light for in the car or otherwise that won’t ruin my night vision.
It’s bright enough to signal with or wave down traffic in a pinch. Reading by blue light takes a little getting used to.

I bought this with my birthday money and it is s rip off. Do not buy.The “beam with point accuracy” is a basic flashlight bright but does not shine far. Stylus does not work with Fire “7 2015, LG K10, Samsung Galaxy tab A 8.0! Not even a touchscreen pc! Opposite of what I thought! For me a rip off. If interested in what I wrote above, good for you. Sorry but just disappointed.

Bought this to use in the hospital for checking pupillary response. Light is very bright and is operated by a push button on the end. Comes with a “cap” for use over the protruding light bulb in order to better direct the light forward. Light is slightly longer than a typical penlight but still can fit in a white coat pocket. Mine is silver not black as pictured. Excellent product.

I bought these blue LED pen lights to find leaks using a Tracer dye to find Oil, coolant and Freon leaks using the black light detection systems . Detection leak detection use a blue light w/colored glasses to detect leaks. These blue LED penlights work perfect and the cost is very reasonable compared to using other blue lighting leak detection systems.

The LED in this product is something from the past. Using AAAA batteries makes the light very thin but the LED is not up to the task. I have an original 2 AAAA Streamlight (an excellent light in it’s day), and when comparing the 2 battery to the 3 battery I see no real difference. Nothing has changed over the decade. I was hoping for a lot more from this company but they have not evolved with the times.

Weak light, color tone of light in complete darkness will have you sitting there, scratching your head wondering why you bought this. To use the pen as a light source for reading and/ or writing will put your eyes through long periods of staying and squinting for focus.
