   This attachment works really well to hold an Intrinsically Safe StreamLight Flashlight on your hard hat so it shines where your head is aiming. Works really well.

   This was the perfect mount for my husband’s hard hat. He’s now able to see at night without having to hold a flashlight while he’s out working calls. This should be a safety addition to all hard hats.

   These things are awesome, I bought 2 for a light on both sides of my hard hat, I use an MSA full brim hard hat with the slots on either side of the hard hat, these go into the slots SOLID and hold my flashlights great! My only concern is that they are made of plastic, and I’m worried they will break on me, they seem very sturdy, so as long as you’re not banging your hard hat around or dropping it they should last.

   I would rate this 5 stars for use with a Streamlight 2AA or other small flashlight. The 3AA is too heavy to be practical as a hard hat mounted option. However, if you absolutely need to mount a 3AA/4AA this is probably the best option (if you can deal with your hard hat being much heavier on one side). I’m not too confident in the 3M sticky back mount holding up long term in an outdoor, industrial environment. The accessory slot mount seems very durable though.

   Bought this to use with a Streamlight Polytac and it works great. Because I’m not always in need of a high-powered beam, I tried fitting a (Life Gear 2 IN 1 Mini Max LED Flashlight with Red Tail Emergency Flasher, Black) into the mount, and it works great. At today’s price of $5.86, this is a great deal for a dependable flashlight.

    I love this thing. I used to use the Streamlight rubber band mount but in order to get the light to angle down where I’m walking, I had to pull up on the whole back end of the band and it just wasn’t reliable. This thing is perfect because it can aim pretty much anywhere you want it to. I’ve also gotten multiple compliments on it. Highly recommend this product for anyone needing a light on their hard hat.

    Fits the accessory slot in my hard hat securely. Plastic looks cheap but once I was prying on it it seems incredibly tough. After tightening down the screw I did my best headbanging and that sucker didn’t so much as budge. I can adjust the screw however to allow the mount to move to reposition my flashlight then tighten it down again rock solid. I imagine I’ll get a few years out of this before sunlight eventually degrades it or my hard hat.

    This product comes with 4 different sized mounts that screws into the mount that clips into the accessory slot on your Construction hardhat S,M,L,XL The Flash lights used are Olights MR2 and Seeker 2. The MR2 fits in the medium clamp, its a snug fit. Its not moving. I use the MR2 with the Large as i use the flashlight belt clip to clip it on the Clamp so i can also take it off and use the Flashlight in hand when needed. The Seeker 2 fits the Xlarge pretty good with no movement if you are in-need of a lot of light power lol. I don’t use this as its to much and heavy. With that you also have to know it will add weight to one side of your head and if it bothers you get 2 of these and use 2 flash lights to balance it out. You can use this mount up right and or flip up side down depending on the size of your flash light…Shown in photos Price wise – its OK. @ $15 but a little cheaper would be great and or offer 2 of these for $25 Longevity – we shale see how long it will last. I have a feeling the knob thing that tightens every thing up could fail after awhile as its all plastic but it is strong Poly Plastic. I feel like i can strip the threads. For Now it gets a 4 out of 5. A little cheaper on price and or if the bolt thing and knob were metal it would be a 5 and worth the price. But not sure if metal is good in some situations if getting shocked is a high risk for you. I Say get this. It works, it fits my flashlights, it fits my Hardhat snug with no movement, and its hard to find an accessory like this for your hardhat that will fit into the accessory slot on Hardhats. Im Very happy with this product. I would like to have another.
