   This is an amazing flashlight. It is extremely bright, the batteries last a long time and are easy to change. The button on the back is easy to use with gloves on. This flashlight is extremely durable and waterproof. 10/10 would recommend.

   So I’ve been looking for this flashlight for some time not hard but I have been wanting to get it years ago while working on a government contract with the Port authority one of their workers gave me the yellow one he said that they got them by the box load and it was hands down the best flashlight he has ever used in my opinion he’s right the brightness hasn’t been matched since and since streamlight makes a wide array of flashlights pinpointing this exact one took a bit off effort I will say this although I haven’t used it much since it was given to me the light does work and hasn’t lost its brightness even with sitting and being used as needed or just to see if it’s still bright I can attest to that I even bought the 7 led that I’ve heard people rave about and even had a better review than this one I have to say I feel this one is better brighter and has more range I like the 7 led one and will keep it in my car but in a blackout situation this is one I’m going to reach for and the one I bought the black one is the exact same thing I couldn’t be happier.

   I have 3 of these. I use one everyday at work. I like the fixed beam and the on and off is simple. You don’t have to click it 3 or 4 times through different modes to turn it off. They also have a lifetime warranty. Send it to them and they do honor it. I sent a couple to them when the switch failed. But I do use these lights numerous times a day.

   This model (68244, same number) was recently updated with a newer, brighter LED (200 lumens). Very cool, except they did not change anything else to account for the new LED’s slightly different size/shape, and instead of an even spot like the old one it makes the ugly blue/yellow rings you would normally see in a generuc flashlight. Some portion of the increased brightness is going into those ugly rings, so you are not getting as much benefit as you might expect.

   This flashlight is great. It’s lightweight, waterproof, very bright, and very comfortable in my hand. This light performs better than most flashlights. The Luxeon bulb is extremely bright. It might be too bright for some people. If you need a flashlight for reading or lower light situations, try the Streamlight 4AA with 7 LEDs.
