   I bought this because of the “lifetime warranty” and sure enough, if you spend the money to send it back to them, they will do something, and return it to you working for the time being, and then it will fail again.

   I have sent it in about 4 times, and after the most recent time when it stopped working, I am just going to get something else. I mean, I don’t use this that often, but it just isn’t very good, and you will waste postage costs of more than the cost to get a different one.

   I say the above as this is my second purchase of such! At the very least the company sent me repair parts to remedy the flickering LED bulbs and a switch, so that impressed me greatly. I use the light for repairs and around the home and genuinely appreciate its size and output for being able to put it in my pocket! I have dropped it numerous times and polycarbonate body and head have not cracked, so still impressed. I also like the duration of battery life is very good, and that the light switch can be partly depressed to give a short burst of light when you need it! Overall a good purchase and will monitor this company for newer products as well. A bit pricey in my opinion! GO GET IT!

   This model is for lighting up the surrounding area, not a focused light. Works great as a FD helmet light in the smoke, lasts days on end.

   I bought this light along with the blackjack mount. I got it in the mail Saturday, put it on my helmet Sunday morning when I put my gear on track. The light fit securely in the mount and is very durable to the touch. I guess it brought the firegod with it because we made a fire that night. It took the heat, flames and water like a champ. I had it on for approx 3-4 hours while overhauling and it’s still in perfect condition. I will be purchasing another one for backup and one for a gift.

   This one is not at all like an older one of these that I have used before. It’s not a bad light all in all, but for the price i feel it should be much better. This light did not at all meet my expectations. I’ll be returning this light and upgrading an older Streamlight Stinger (that I found on the freeway) to LED instead.

   Perfectly reasonable and simple flashlight but I was surprised to learn its 155 hour runtime is, er, optimistic. The back of the package has a chart of how far the beam will project over time (picture below). At 155 hours of runtime the beam is all of 3 feet – ouch. Based on the chart the light is probably not very effective even at the 65 hour mark. Even the Streamlight website did not make this clear. It wasn’t until the package arrived that I saw these details.

    These lights have a design flaw. They really are terrible and stream light should put out a free part for the “led module” this light will fail I can guarantee it. The led bezel separates from the contact points over time because of a week glueing compound used to hold it together. Good news stream light guarantees them…..yeah……I have time to send them back and forth for repair at the company I work for that bought 50 of them!
