   The dual lights are a great idea. With a forward facing beam AND a downward facing beam you can see both at your feet and along the path of travel. Great idea that I’m surprised nobody has thought of before. Typical Streamlight high quality.

   This flashlight is lightweight, easy to turn on as you just press the rubber button which is flat and does not stick out. I got the yellow which is easier to find in the house. The best feature is there is a second light the you can turn on or not, which illuminates the floor as you walk ! I have always had to shine a flashlight on the floor then back to straight ahead. This light has the option of lighting the floor.path and straight ahead at the same time.. I love it and will give it as Christmas presents.

   Amazing idea – 2 separate beams – One in front of you, and one shining down at your feet where you are walking. Genius. I believe it is issued to the US emergency services – It is very tough plastic, very dense, very neon bright and easy to find. I imagine it would take quite a knock. Extremely well engineered – This is my ‘go to’ torch. Get what you pay for. It is an import, so it is a week or so to arrive. For anyone who has to walk in the dark to be honest.

   I actually use an identical flashlight for inspection work on aircraft each day. I liked it’s durability and how long batteries last, had to get one for home use! It’s also approved in explosion environments so it won’t ignite flammable vapors. Built like a Timex watch, takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!
   Would not hesitate to buy another one, they are built well!

    I use this at my construction job to see how much diesel is in my slip tank. I also use to to see how much diesel is left in generator fuel tanks. I’ve even forgot it sitting in one of the generator engine bays for 4-5 hours in -15 Celsius weather and it was still on, and bright enough to use for another week and a half before I changed the batteries. I also clip it to my jacket when I’m working in the dark and use the flood light to see what I’m working on. I do think the flashlight was worth what I paid for it, $35 at the time. Would not pay more than $60 for this though.

    seems a little pricey compared to high end rechargeable alum body lights which don’t cost much more, front lens seems thin. but as a battery powered emergency light we can rely on Streamlight to actually work compared to cheap knock off lamps
