   I like this for inspecting ships. It works underwater. The magnets allow attaching it to overhead steel stiffeners and bulkheads. The clip is easy to use one-handed. It can be clipped to coveralls where the flood light points ahead for general area lighting to see ladders.

   I also use it to load and unload my car by attaching it to the underside of the rear hatch using the magnet on the clip. The floodlight really helps, and it has survived being slammed twice.

   Update: I lost the first one by leaving it behind in a crawlspace. Bought a second.

   I work on elevators in the dark all day so it pays to have a good flashlight that you can put set down somewhere and not have it drop to its death. It excels in the ability to be clipped or hung or stick and stay where you put it and it has 2 lights at 90° to each other to allow you to light up more area or look ahead and see the objects at your feet as you walk.

   It’s not the brightest but, it does the job! And to be honest you don’t want a really bright flashlight to work by it actually makes it harder to see. You aren’t shooting down aircraft with this flashlight but you can work by with it for hours at a time if you need to.

   I’m a huge fan of Streamlight products. They’re pretty much all I buy for lights, and I probably have way too many Streamlight products (if you ask my wife). This is clearly an entry level light for them. One of the buttons is really hard to press, the other isn’t. The flood light has a yellow tint to it and the spot light has a white/blue tint to it. I’d have preferred if they were closer to the same shade. Also, the two lights do not intersect at all. It’s close… but they do not intersect. Not a huge deal, but when using to walk the dogs on a nature path at night, there is a clear and definite gap between the two lights. So overall it is a nice light. For the $25 I paid, I’d buy it again. But I’d rather have the issues I mentioned addressed and have it be a little higher quality, and cost $40. I’d happily pay $40 for this if it was perfect than $25 for one that’s pretty nice. If you’re looking for a good quality light that’s easy to use with decent battery life without spending $100, this is probably the one for you.

   I bought this mainly to help illuminate my work, but I found the magnets are very weak and do not hold the flashlight well. The bottom magnet only works as a top down light, not a perpendicular light. Decent light, but poor planning with the magnets. Dropped it today, missed my side pocket on my overalls. It fell less than 3 feet and the clip shattered off. No replacing it. Upset that the clip and magnets are now gone because of that flaw…

    Los dos tipos de haz de luz son muy prácticos, se me hace un poco raro el uso de 3 AA en lugar de 2 o inlcuso 4. Por lo demás muy práctica para tenerla a la mano cuando se va la luz, uno usa más el Flood Beam de lo que cree.

    My torch arrived earlier than the specified delivery timeframe. Good lightweight torch that with the addition of the downward beam illuminates a usefully large area in front of you. Very useful for night walks as illuminated area identifies any slip and trip hazards.

    Bought this to replace a streamlight 3AA non dualie (which still works great for over a year of intense water, high temps, general beatings) on my firefighter helmet. This didn’t work out due to the type of mount I have on it. The ground light would have been facing out to the side. Non the less, this light has become my new backpack light. It goes with me everywhere. Works great as a work light if you clip it on something with the handy intergrated clip or stand it up on its end. I am very happy with both my streamlight products and will be buying more as gifts.
