Total control of light/laser pressure switch using standard foregrip thumb setup. Totally disagree with design complaints wanting a hard on/off pressure switch. Very easy to manually turn light/laser “hard on” behind light switch if needed. My setup also includes a night vision clip-on scope/IR light not shown. So light/laser gets mounted laterally. If laser mounted on bottom rail of rifle, natural concealed rifle resting positions are compromised.

It functions perfectly, is easy to install, and mine included an extra pin for security, providing me with two. This is reassuring, as it mitigates the concern of losing one. I appreciate their inclusion, as someone might regularly interchange this back with the original.

An awesome addition to a great line of WMLs.
I got mine because my light would activate inside its backpack (hold-down straps would catch the switch) without much effort with the original rocker switch that’s on the TLR-1 HL; not good.
* I wish that the switch arm on this door (69161) was a bit longer or had a wider blade/taller profile to better help manipulate the switch.
* You also lose some of the functionality of the original switch without a remote switch installed.
* And the plug can come out easily and be lost; it is NOT captured.
* Yes, this door is made for the greater percentage of users who utilize a remote switch, but I wanted it for
the “safe off” feature (awesome), and to eliminate the snag potential.
* It also works out great for me as a left-hander because I am mounting my light on the top rail, so the one switch arm falls on the right side making it easy for me to manipulate.
With practice, it works just fine with a quick manipulation of my thumb
And I’ll happily take suggestions (other than what my wife usually dishes out) for a better way; thanks in advance!

Look they work but I wish they would infuse metal into the inside. The little plastic lips break over time rendering it useless and they are not exactly inexpensive to replace

Not much to say here

The plastic portion holding the battery leads was separated from the body of the switch. The switch does not seat properly with the body of the light (Streamlight TLR-1). Terrible workmanship. Now I have to waste time to return this piece of junk.

Works great, able to prevent light when light discipline is needed. Good disable for transport.
– I asked a Streamlight rep to add this feature to their remote tailcaps. 6 months later, they did.
Gotta hand it to Streamlight: they listen to feedback and build what customers ask for.
Thanks guys.
