   Initial Observations: It’s about time! I have been waiting for a light to come out for my Glock 26. I am a Law Enforcement Officer and carry a backup G26 in my cargo pocket while on duty. The G26 fits nicely in the pocket with a pocket holster and uses the same magazines as my full size Glock 17. The only problem I have been facing is with my off duty gun. I wanted to carry the G26 off duty and concealed but really enjoy having a light on my off duty gun (identifying the threat is where people run into problems in low light). I also like the idea of being able to carry the G26 with a full size G17 magazine ready to go should the first magazine fail or I need more ammunition. I just thought a light would never be able to be attached on the pistol due to the pistol not having a rail for attachments. Then I was told about this set up, the TLR-6. I have always enjoyed Streamtlight products. I have never had issues with any of their lights. I have Streamlights on my duty pistol and patrol rifle (M4) already. So, I ordered the TLR-6. The light also had the built in laser, which I was not wanting too much, but I found out the laser can be turned off if you want it turned off. The light fit on my pistol perfectly. The pistol and the light look like the pistol came that way. It was also a quick and easy 5 minute install. The light was also very bright for the size of the unit. Reliability: I shot a few hundred rounds through the pistol using the light and have not had any issues. The unit feels very durable and turned on and off when I wanted it too. On/Off Button: I did notice the button on the light sits far enough forward that someone with short fingers may have some trouble reaching it. I am 6’2″ and have normal size hands for my height. I did not find any problems reaching it, but my wife did. I enjoy the fact that the light is ambidextrous, since I am left handed. I can turn it on and off with my left index finger. I also liked that the on button could be pressed lightly to activate the light and released to turn the light off or you can press the button firmly to have continuous light. Battery: The battery is easy to access with the light on the gun. For sight in, I used the allen wrench it came with to sight it in with my iron sights. This took five minutes and was very simple. Holster: This was almost a deal breaker for me. Unless you are placing it next to your bed, why would you want a light on a gun without a holster? I needed a holster that I could continue doing pocket carry with and I also needed a holster I could use for concealed carry. I like Kydex the best due to moisture issues I have had when using leather for concealed carry. I chose to go with Gladius Holsters ( […] ). I was told by another cop that they make great products and can make holsters to fit lights on pistols. I was impressed. Gladius made a pocket holster for duty carry and an appendix carry holster for off duty concealed carry. The holsters are very durable and exceeded my expectations. It is strong stuff. I posted a picture of me carrying appendix carry with this light in a holster. Pros: Bright, easy to use, durable, price, fit to pistol, now have holsters for them, easy to install/sight in Cons: distance from hand to button

   I received my first one and quickly installed on my Glock 27. I installed the batteries and the batteries seemed loose. I tried to turn on and no go. I checked to make sure it was installed and the 3 screws were properly tightened. All looked good. As I was opening the battery door the light would turn on. Tried to close it and it turned off. I called Streamlight and asked if this could be addressed by me. I was told to send it in. Instead contacted streamlightoutlet.com and was promptly sent a new one and a return label for the old one. I have multiple Streamlight lights and gun laser/light combos. Never had one come from the box defective! The only time I have ever had a problem was I beat on it. After reading the reviews it looks like you get a 50/50 shot on getting a good one. Streamlight dropped the ball on Q/C on this one! After the second one was installed it holds zero perfect, no adjustments to re-zero. Looks great on the gun, like Glock designed it. Would’ve gave 5 stars if the first one worked. Update 5/5/18: have sent hundreds of rounds down range. Zero issues with the replacement. I use mine with a owb Priority 1 holster with a clip draw also attached to the rear plate. If it gets slightly exposed with a shirt lifting up it looks like a cell phone. My new fave gun to carry.

   Of course its a streamlight which is the benchmark of weapon lights. This is my first tlr6 but i have many tlr 1’s and they all work every time. i have blasted over 2000 rounds by my tlr1 and it shines bright. So this tlr6 with laser works like it should. Attaches to my gl26 finger guard firmly and is easy to operate. Also gives the gl26 IMO a better look.

   for the price, it offers a nice bright light and laser combination. holds zero and nice small profile. first unit I received was defective but the second one was fine after streamlightoutlet.com offered a refund. I have a second one coming in for my other glock 26. would reccomended

   After researching these for a couple weeks, reading every review on streamlightoutlet.com/MidwayUSA, and seeing the price drop…. I finally made the purchase. I was hesitant due to the fact there is no quick release (Forcing me to find new holster options…I spent good money on the 3 I use now.) After unboxing and installation I am very pleased with the fit/finish. This is not my first Streamlight , but i believe this is just about the greatest product they have developed thus far. The light does not change the weight balance or make the 26 feel more bulky. The toggle switches are placed perfectly for my shooting grip and hand size. The 100 Lumens is more than enough to impair the vision of a threat within 20 feet of your muzzle in true darkness. The lens seems durable and focuses the beam nicely for 40-60 feet. The mounting solution Streamlight engineered into this provides a solid feel and look. It truely looks as if Glock sold this weapon with the light/laser mounted from the factory. I have no doubt this setup will hold its zero and provide a clean draw and re holster in the Vedder Light Tuck IWB holster I plan to carry it in. I look forward to hitting the range when my holster arrives this week!

    Two of the three screws were stripped upon opening the package. Was going to returned but, watched a video on how to remove stripped screws with a latex glove, it worked! I didn’t want to return it because wanted to see it on my glock 27 Gen 4. Had to disassemble and assemble the same two stripped screws using a latex glove over the tool provided with the kit. Wish I can get two new screws. If it wasn’t for the 2 stripped screws I would have given the product 5 stars. Very easy to install (if it wasn’t for the stripped screws) and fits like a glove on Glock 27 Gen 4. Great add-on for any one who owns a Glock and needs a laser/light combo. Would buy another streamlight product and would recommend to friends. The light performs better than I expected, even inside the house at noon. The red laser is bright and visible outdoors at noon, tried it at the range and was perfectly calibrated out the box. Update: Emailed streamlight costumer service with the problem. I received an email back, informing that they will send a set of replacement mounting screws for my TLR-6. I have since change my review to 5 stars! Very good product and super great costumer care!!! If you are a “mini” glock owner, this is the light/laser combo for you. Great price and product!
