   1st one laser did not turn on. 2nd light did not turn on. 3rd one the windage screw stripped. How is this even possible? The only reason I ordered a second is because I had ordered a custom holster for it. Absolutely 100 percent disappointed

   I own several Glock handguns and wanted the ability to move the flashlight/laser from one gun to another. This kit has a housing for both the Glock 42/43 and the 26/27 pistols that don’t have rails under the barrel. The housings fit securely attaching to the front of the trigger guard and flush to the frame under the barrel. Three screws holds both sides of the housing together tight so there is no movement while firing the weapon. I used a bore laser sight to zero in the TLR-6 laser. I confirmed the red dot with the fixed sights on the gun and it was dead on at 45′. I liked the unit so much that I purchased another on for my Glock 19. Only issue is that I had to buy a holster to fit the gun with the laser attached. Not hard to find and not expensive.

   I purchased this kit in late May….it’s now October and I’m in the process of sending it back to streamlight for repair. Probably have around 400-500rds with it mounted to various 9mm firearms. Worked well, and held zero decently for 100rd range sessions. I’d have to slightly tweet after every range visit which is kinda expected with a $100 laser. The problem I had was that eventually the laser become two dots. One above the other and slightly right of the one below. It still worked and could still hit target 10 yards or so, but still not satisfied. I still gave this 4 stars because of streamlights customer service. They asked me to send unit back and would fix or replace at no charge to me other than shipping to them which kinda sucks, but is what it is. I just sent in today, so I update later about time away, and end result. The light I will say is decent as well, not super bright but would definitely allow target verification in low light/dark situations. I asked the representative if this was a problem they have frequently seen, and responded that its wasn’t a frequent issue, but they’ve definitely seen it in other units. Makes me kinda think the lasers in these have around 500rd lifetime.

   This works great but would be nice if a little brighter. Laser works well, but like most it’s hard to see in the daylight. Fits good on a Glock 26 Gen 5.

   The full kit works great and fits snug on my Glock 30. The reach for the on button is a little long. It’s nice getting all the housings included. More secure than I thought it would be for not being a rail mount system.

   When I received the TlR-6, the laser/light component’s left side button didn’t work. This prevents if from shifting between the different laser & light modes. I called Streamlight’s technical support and the technician walked me thru trouble shooting. We determined one of the wires to left side control button was broken off. Technician said it happens every now and then. The technician gave me an email address to request a new laser / light component. After emailing them twice, i haven’t received a response. Its been over a month since my last attempt.

   Though you get a lot of shells to fit on various guns you still just have 1 emitter. In order to go from gun to gun you gotta open up these plastic shells and tinker around using TINY easily stripped screws. The light is pretty good for my uses. The laser is just a bonus.

    Takes a weird battery that I cannot find rechargeable so buy a few batteries since runtime advertised isnt very long

    I mounted this on my Kahr CM9. It was easy enough to mount. Stayed in place for 100rds of 147gr. The light is about as bright as you’d want for indoors use. Laser was dead on at 10yds. It did not add too much bulk to the gun and I can still Pocket Carry it in a Uncle Mikes Pocket holster size 4 but its a tight fit, the front sight hangs up on draw but since I also have a Meprolight Bullseye sight I don’t need the front sight so I removed it and it works fine.

    Like always, I’m too excited to read the instructions so I opened it up and tried the different housings, hoping they would snap in. After getting frustrated because none fit properly, finally realized that I needed to unsnap the kit first and then they fit properly. Looks great and works with my clip! Can’t wait to take it to the range!

    Although in the list of guns it says they fit it doesn’t fit the 43x as it won’t attach to the rail. You need to buy 69286 the 43x specific unit instead.
