I was skeptical that this light would be bright enough for concealed carry. I was pleasantly surprised. With good eyes, you can see pretty darn well up to about 30 yards away, 4 yards wide, which is plenty for concealed carry. Light does not add much bulk to the gun and is easy to install. Each side of the light body is well made snaps into the trigger guard, and the 3 bolts hold each side together. I used a little blue thread locker for insurance, but after practicing a bunch of holster and re-holstering, it hasn’t come loose at all, which is what I expected.
Overall, for $70, pretty good. The verdict is out on battery life and longevity, but stream light has a good reputation so hopefully all is well there.
