   And excellent addition to any firearm (mine just happens to be an M&P. The only reason why it’s not a Five Star is because it does not use the retaining pin that is standard for the factory (original) back plate for the TRL-1 (2). The button is very pronounced without being uncomfortable.

   It’s a little bit of a pain to remove the battery cover to install this switch, but once you get past that, it’s easy to install on weapon and very easy to use.

   Bought 2 of these this year. Both broke. Disappointed in the durability of this product. 1st one cracked at the bend/curve above the pressure switch. So I ordered a 2nd one, in which the plastic piece that’s over the battery compartment cover that the medal bracket clips onto broke off. I tried to return back with streamlightoutlet.com, but I was told the 30 day return limit was up and I couldn’t return it. I might buy 2 more, so when the 3rd one breaks, I have the 4th one ready to go!!!

   I have multiple full size M&Ps. Night sights, Apex DCAEK, stippling, the whole deal. TLR-1HL’s are my weapon light of choice.

   Once I installed this, I immediately groaned because I realized I now have to get one for every pistol with a TLR-1. It’s that good.

   If you think installing remotes like this is lame, just Google search for how SEALs run their Sig P228s with lights. Surprise! Remotes. Learn from their best practices, I’m pretty sure they shoot more than you do.

   I’m running this with a TRL-2 and works perfectly. For those that carry an M&P for duty FYI this will fit the Safariland 6280 holster like a glove no need to modify the holster in anyway. It does take some time to get use to the grip but range sessions should remedy that.

   Great product. The only problem I have is it does not fit I’m my duty holster with this switch attached. Anyone know of a level three basket weave it will fit in?

   I ordered the product labeled to fit the standard M&P pistols. After installing the pressure switch is short leaving a noticeable gap between the button and the grip of my M&P 9mm… I am using the S&W rail key in the Streamlight TRL-1 and there is no other adjustments I can make. Button works to turn on the light but I dont like the gap. Any picture I’ve ever seen on-line of this set up there is no gap like this.
