The first one I received was defective, the adjustment screws were so tight and would bind (unable to ever get it to move up and down) they would strip out rather than move. Sent it back for a replacement and got a used one despite paying for new one (parts bag already opened, missing allen wrench key, one of the 1913 rail missing, both adjustments stripped, all the sticker pulled off the unit, part of the instructions book missing. Now waiting for a refund.

Streamlights are great lights at any price. Super bright with great battery life. I have many of these lights, I shoot my stuff a lot and let’s face it, the best products break. I’ve had to call customer service twice and can say the only thing better than the light is the customer service. Never any questions, they replace parts immediately.

After my initial error using the wrong tab, I got this light mounted tight and secure, however I didn’t use loctight and the first time at the range it came loose after 20 rounds.
Then I tightened the mounting screw again without loctight and the screw ended up bending at the threads. Then again it came loose after a range session and the screw broke when attempting to tighten it again.
One other issue on my M&P shield was that the flashlight lens has become permanently clouded/scarred from the muzzle gas.
Laser and flashlight worked pretty good and switches work fine. The on-off lens switch was easy to forget about, so, first battery life was low since it got jostled in my bag and turned on.

It’s Streamlight. So you know it’s a high quality light. Great on any pistol. I prefer the TLR-8 on carry pistols. You don’t need a X-300 bazooka sticking a foot in front of your gun.

It doesn’t adjust well and the laser isn’t aligned. The light works well
