I run a Streamlight on every weapon I own, including my handheld ones, and they’ve always been dependable. I was initially disappointed that this model didn’t have a strobe function—until I learned how to enable it. Here’s how:

1. Make sure the light is off.
2. Tap the momentary paddle switch 10 times quickly (within 0.4 seconds per tap).
3. On the 10th tap, hold it down.
4. Keep holding until the light shuts off (about 1 second)—that confirms strobe mode is active.
5. Repeat to toggle strobe mode on or off.

Once enabled, it’s everything you’d expect from Streamlight—durable, bright, and mission-ready.

I’ve ordered 2 of these through streamlightoutlet.com and both don’t work and they won’t return the 2nd one so I had to pay shipping to send it to streamlight just save your money and buy one from optics planet
