   Excellent addition to badge reel for nurses! Assists with infection prevention by decreasing need to reach into pockets for pen light. Too bright for neuro checks but perfect for night shift task illumination or situations where you may be bent over a patient (wound care etc) in low lighting. I let the light dangle from my badge reel and it provides the perfect field of illumination! I love that light stays on without needing to continuously hold the button. I can’t speak yet to the battery life but I know that if something happens to this one, I would be quick to replace it.

   I have carried several different keychain lights over the years and this Streamlight model is my favorite. It is bright, has multiple modes and easily carried. I like the rechargeable pocket mate, but this model, while not as bright as the pocket mate, lasts a long time without needing battery replacement. I also like the flash mode and that it will start flashing and automatically shut off if left on for 5 minutes. A keychain flashlight with keychain pepper spray is the winning combo for personal safety.

   This little Light works very well and it’s been on my key chain for a couple of month.
   Seems like it’s well built and bright enough to do all small tasks in the dark.

   What I don’t like is the fact that it does not memorize the last setting, in other words it starts from the High beam and than I have to click couple of time to go to low beam. Or at least they should program it to start from Low than go to high in order to give you the option to save the battery. Still a good mini flash light to keep in your pocket.

   I purchased two of the Streamlight keychain flashlights, and they’ve been incredibly handy. One stays on my keychain, while the other is attached to the zipper pull of my jacket. The hands-free option on my jacket is great—it casts a soft light at my feet, helping me see where I’m walking while also ensuring that vehicles can see me, making me feel much safer when walking at night. The flashlight is small but powerful, and its multiple modes make it versatile for different situations. I like having a dedicated light and not having to rely on or drain my cell phone battery.

   It’s a novelty light, at first glance, until you really need it. This is on my keychain (along with the Swiss Army SD classic, Fisher Space Pen Backpacker, and a Res-Q-Me tool). I carry almost exclusively all streamlights (a few mags if I’m working on house projects) both on and off duty. I recently let my wife use my stylos pro and I also needed a flalightlight to help out in a dark spot. This was all I had and it provided excellent illumination. The strobe setting is perfect for drawing attention (say you’re changing a flat tire on the side of the road. Put this on strobe and it’s bright enough to draw attention of passing drivers). It’s small and compact but it has it’s purpose!

   My wife LOVES using these for work at the hospital. It’s light enough to hang off her badge clip without dragging things down, bright enough to do anything she needs to do in a patient’s room at night while offering dimmer settings that don’t disturb patients as much if they are sleeping, is easily turned on and off with one hand and stays on without having to continuously press it. She loves being able to turn it on and let it dangle from her chest shining down to where she needs to deal with IV lines and such. Battery life seems good, she only needs me to replace them once or twice a year. The only down side is that they get brittle and crack after a year or two of use when frequently sanitized with alcohol. Even when cracked they still function properly. I think my wife is on her third one of these in the past six years. We’ve searched around online for something that might be even better for her needs and haven’t been able to find anything that offers all the benefits of this small light. We love it enough that we bought three of them last time they went on sale (only $8!) just in case they stop making them. I and she highly recommend it!
