   Overall this is ok, was expecting it to be brighter and not as blue. Would not purchase again. If you’re on the fence… This puts out about the same amount of light (both brightness and beam width) on high as an iPhone 7 Plus with the led function set to half (2 steps from off). With the iPhone having 2 more levels of brightness, not sure I’d carry this on my keychain because my phone does the same thing and more. It doesn’t have a good way of standing up either so you’ll have to use one hand to direct the light. Cheap enough where I’d just keep it

   I’ve had at least one of these for the past 12 years.
   They work great, and the USB charge lasts for quite a long time. It’s nice and bright as well.
   Only gripe I have is, that they’re not very durable.
   I’ve broken 2 of them in the past. They crack across the light bar above the LEDs.

   I prefer the Steamlight Pocket Mate. Seems much more durable.

   I really wanted to like this it’s a good idea, but poor execution. To start the “key” is way thicker that even any key fobs I carry with me and second just after my return window expired the back of the case that holds the guts just fell off. Never dropped it once just grabbed the keys and the back was gone luckily I found it by retracing my steps. Will probably attempt glueing it as shipping for a warranty claim would be almost the same price as just buying another. Really disappointed in streamlight so many other stellar products this one just didn’t hit the bar.

   It’s perfect it’s always there when you need it. Makes getting in the house in the dark. Only problem I have is that my girlfriend wants to take it for herself. Guess I’ll get her one also a couple of my friends have ordered them also.

   Great little product, fit on keyring and you hardly knew it was there. Very bright and activates with ease, even when your hands are full. Charges like a champ and rarely needs it. But the spring loaded gate is the failing point. I was lucky it fell off in my hand because I always carry it on a belt hook. I’m buying another one but I’ll epoxy the gate shut and just run it on a key ring.

   OK, so it is still a bit bulky to always have attached to your key chain (especially if that key chain is kept in your pocket). However, during the winter months when night falls early and everything is dark, it’s a great item to have readily available (and perhaps have in the glove box when not in the winter months). On a key chain is definitely helps to see the lock you’re wanting to insert a key into. And with the option to make it shine brighter, it’s so incredibly useful to find things you’ve dropped or use to shine light into an otherwise dark area. A really GREAT gift to give (awesome stocking stuffer) to someone you care about to help them navigate through some dark areas. Well worth the purchase.

   This came in original packaging which is nice. Package says “try me” like you should be able to use it in the package to test. Ordered two. Neither of them worked in package which means these are likely so old they died. Charged one fully and attempted to use and only the light would work on the brightest setting and only when you hold the power button down. But there is three modes that are supposed to stay on? So I watched another video on here and it looks like they had the power cord in the side to make the difference modes work. So I plugged it in and hit the power button while plugged in and red and nothing happened. Left the charging cable in the side of the key and again tried the power button and the modes worked with the cord in the side. Pulled cord out of the side and and now seems to be fictional as stated. We will se how long this lasts if out of the box it was dead and after first charge not working properly. I would expect more from stream light! The bad thing is I ordered one for a Christmas gift so I hope that one works who likes giving a malfunctioning gift? Other than these issues out of the box it is a nice little key light.

   I bought this as a replacement for a solar powered light fob. This is far brighter, easy to charge, looks like one of my keys. I haven’t tested its water resistance, but if you guys want, i’ll throw it on a fishing line and flush it down the toilet a few times.
