   I use my Streamlight Stinger every day. My battery is usually totally discharged every day. I keep 2 batteries so that I can change out during the day because charging takes a couple of hours. The battery will last about 45 minutes in the light when continuously on. That may not sound like much but these lights are ridiculously bright. After a few minutes it will be hot enough that it’s uncomfortable to touch. That’s lots of energy to create that much heat. This battery would probably power your cell phone for a year if you could tap into the stored energy. I’m getting about 3 years out of a battery the way I use them. A very good battery for a demanding light.

   In the picture on the battery in the ad, it says the cells are made in Japan and assemble in China. When I receive the battery it says cells are made in China and assembled in China. Would assume Japan shells are better than China but that’s the reason I give it two stars. A few months ago I bought a battery cells are made in Japan and assembled in China and I’ll probably have had it 69 months probably charged it two or three times don’t use it a lot not heavy use but I’m very pleased with these cells in this battery how long they last so Thought I was getting the same thing and I didn’t so that’s why I’m sending it back

    This is a 10 yr old (bought 2014 from streamlightoutlet.com) battery that came in Streamlight Strion LED HL. It runs at full brightness until it dies, no dimming algorithm (verified with lux meter) but this is probably light specific not battery related. Other review pics say 9.5wH but this ones only ~7.5…which runs on high for 2+ hours. Take less than 2 hours to charge in flashlight cradle charger and I have about 40-50 cycles so far. Made in Korea assembled in China and I’d buy both the light and battery again in a heartbeat.

    My old one to the right. The one I ordered in the middle was a used one. I was able to get a replacement. Make sure you inspect the battery before using. It wouldn’t stay charge that long. The plastic container was opened from the bottom. Seller replaced the battery and now this one charges and holds the charge. Great seller A++

    I dislike that the advertised item in the picture is not what you actually receive. This does not appear to be an OEM battery as the label on the received item states the cells are made in China instead of Japan. The battery arrived with no charge so I am waiting to see if it will perform the same as the OEM.
