   Love this light, put the charging cradle in my truck and it has proven itself as one of the most useful flashlights I own. Perfect throw distance to spot channel markers out of a boat at a comfortable distance when hunting, stands out as a reliable light in any weather. I have not noticed and adverse effects on my truck battery from the charger cradle and I’ve had it for 11 months. Light does get warm during use at the head but that’s to be expected from a high output light. I really like the tail cap switch and the small size. Battery recharges extremely fast on the 12V DC charger. Flashing LED charge indicator does not mess with my vision at night while driving and the charger installs easily. My favorite feature is that it is always ready to be used, no worrying about batteries since it is always on the charger in my truck. Overall would absolutely spend hard earned money on it again and if I break it I will absolutely be buying another!

   I know my other streamlight strion did not look like this. Is this something new. I had two strions lights and one is different from the other, in addition to my review and also reading from other buyers, these are lights that law enforcement and security supposed to trust, being a streamlight flashlight customer for 3 years my first streamlight strion had no problems whatsoever no raspy worn charging contacts and overall good quality. My only complaint was that the battery died out too quickly but I would pay that kind of money for a made in the USA Product streamlight strion. I have had 4 lights total.

   My job requires me to have a flashlight that I can trust with my life. Streamlight is the top of the line when it comes to flashlights and this light is perfect for my job. I carry it on a vest pouch in which it hits up against things all day every day. As you can see in this picture its still flawless. Its been dropped more times than I can count now and its held up great. I’ve only had to charge it once since my purchase a month or two ago. Great battery life and a great product.

   Era una lámpara muy esperada por mi, primera por qué ya no tengo que comprar pilas, y ahora de nueva llevo más 3 horas de uso y sin cargar batería, es compacta, pequeña con discreción, solo el boto trasero para encendido, Mal por que a los 10 min en parte superior inicia a calentar y al ser metal es un poco molesto, también no es compatible con su funda original, queda grande por que es muy pequeña, No compatible con varias fundas. Pedí una más que es táctica y dice ser compatible, para trabajo nocturno es excelente, como seguridad y paramédico la recomiendo (comprar su funda plástica para evitar rayones y evitar molestias por el calentamiento)

   Fantastic flashlight! I’m an airline pilot and was looking for a portable, discreet flashlight that can easily be put in a full flight bag, yet has a high power, quality beam for doing “walk arounds”. The Streamlight 74751 far and away exceeded my expectations (and they were high, after reading reviews). The flashlight has a very powerful (yet adjustable) beam in a very small, compact design (fits easily in pant pockets). Some of the main benefits that I think stand out and should be mentioned are: – Very powerful beam, especially considering its it’s very compact size! (the entire light easily fits inside a pocket, unless you wear skinny jeans) – Metal housing, yet is lighter than it looks. – 3 beam brightness settings, in addition to a strobe setting. – Pressing the power button lightly (without “clicking” it on) turns on the light temporarily (momentary switch), then immediately turns off when you lift your finger off the button. I find this a fantastic feature for walk arounds when you’re in and out of dark spots you need to illuminate, without the constant wear and tear of “clicking” on and off. The box includes the flashlight, recharging base (clamps the flashlight onto the charging contacts), AC power adapter (to charge at home, etc), and a DC car power outlet adapter. The latter 2 adapters plug into a universal socket on the recharging base. All in all, a fantastic flashlight that I highly recommend. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The only down side is possibly the price, but then again, you do get what you pay for (which I’ve found out several times over with other flashlights).

   This little flashlight is a rockstar! I bought for my husband this past summer and was initially surprised at how small it was but have found it’s waaay better than a big clunky flashlight. The brightness is crazy!!.. superior to any we’ve ever owned… and we have had many!! Awesome quality, and battery life – highly recommend!!

    We got this flashlight a couple of years ago, and it’s incredible.

    It holds a charge for what seems like MONTHS, is brighter than the light of 1000 suns, and is lightweight.

    Is it a bit pricey? Yup! But, save from us losing it, I don’t think we’d buy another flashlight in our lifetimes, as well as not needing to buy batteries…. it’s such a good investment. It’s taken us through several long-haul power outages and dark winter nights without an issue.

    I wish there was an option to have a less bright mode, but I just cover the light a bit with part of my hand and that does the trick.

    I have many Streamlight flashlights. It is my go-to brand for quality and value. There’s another manufacturer out there that makes equal or slightly better but you need a second mortgage on your house to buy their stuff. The light I bought was a replacement for a previous 20-year old version and WOW, this little guy makes some lumens. I love it. It goes in my flashlight pocket on my tactical pants whenever I walk out the door.
