   Works great with the used Streamlight Stinger I came across for a coupla bucks. Nice that it can be used with OEM AC adapter or a micro-USB power supply (latter charges more slowly, however). Picked up some aftermarket Ni-Cads and I’m good to go! Keep the contacts on the flashlight clean and you’re all set.

    I purchased this to use with my new 77550 Streamlight UltraStinger 1100 lumen flashlight. The problem is, it doesn’t come with a power cord and the cord that streamlightoutlet.com recommended (Part# 22311) is only rated at 500mA. This is not enough power to charge the UltraStinger and so the charging LED gives a solid light (charging) for only 5-10 seconds then gives 3-flashes indicating an error. So I tried the USB cable option and everything worked fine. The problem with the USB method is it’s much slower to charge. So, I searched streamlightoutlet.com for a more powerful charging cord and found only a 800mA cord, of which the description says will not work with the UltraStinger. So, as far as I’ve been able to gather, this will not fast-charge my flashlight unless I find an off-brand 12vdc power supply rated around 2 amps. So, that’s what I did… Using an old laptop power cord (see pics), I soldered the wires directly to the power terminals, where they solder to the circuit board (see pics), being sure to maintain proper polarity (positive on the right, closest to the USB terminal). Everything is now working properly, no thanks to Streamlight.

    I didn’t like how much it was it was a little over the top on price to me anyway and I would have thought that you would ever need that sort of charger for a flashlight until you use that flashlight you don’t really know but then you use it and it is glorious very glorious
