   This is a replacement switch for the Streamlight Stinger flashlight. It’s the smaller, roughly 8″ light. Switch works fine. Streamlight makes some great, dependable products. As a LEO of 20+ years I have used Streamlights for a long time. I have had a Stinger for 15yrs and this is the second switch I’ve put in it. I’ve only had to replace the battery once and the bulb once. If there is a weak link in the lights, it’s the switch, but think how many times you power cycle the light. A new switch every 7-8 years is not a big deal… and this switch fits the bill.

   Even though there’s a lifetime warranty on the light it is much faster to replace this yourself.

   It was a perfect replacement with a genuine part. Installation was easy – just push into barrel of light. However, getting old switch out was a little difficult. I used a circlip pliers and a chop stick and was able to push the old switch out. If I had a minor complaint it was that mine only included one screw in the packaging. Not a big deal – I just used one of the old screws, but someone was a little careless packaging this.

   Unusable! I bought it for an old Stinger XT with button switch on bottom. My old stinger switch module had a side button just like this one, but for some reason this one presses on once inserted in body tube, and will not turn off. It is unusable even though the product description indicated it would work. Very disappointed!
