   The brightest Streamlight ever! I added the LiOn battery and ds end cap switch to make the perfect flashlight for 1/3 of the cost on a tool truck! Thank god it has the 3 brightness settings so you can tone down the brightness if its too much for certain spots.

   I lost a regular stream light stinger, and replaced it with the HL. Dare I say it’s too bright. As an aircraft mechanic it is a everyday tool that gets used off and on for most of the day. The HL is so bright that you constantly deal with glare and reflected light coming back at you. You can turn it down to medium or low so it’s not terrible to deal with, but the regular stinger was borderline too bright and this one is just a little too bright. For camping or illuminating a big room it is great. The battery doesn’t last quite as long as the regular stinger, but it’ll make it through a couple days of work.
