   Great flashlight for home use in the ever-ready state. This device is wall mounted in the master bed room for emergencies like power outages. Would not recommend as a tactical light. This is the second one of these I’ve purchased in the last five years. Batteries tend to last two years (the warranty period), Given the price I would expect Streamlight to upgrade the battery technology on this light and not settle for short-life batteries.

   I’ve used streamlight flashlights for 15 years plus. I use this flashlight model everyday I’m at work. It takes all the abuse I can throw at it and asks for more. It has never let me down. If you have a problem with your streamlight, they have a lifetime warranty too.

   Have used this light almost daily for about 4 months now and it has been a game changer. The battery life is very good, it does seem to die fast even for a battery that large, I seldom use it on full bright for long periods of time. As far as durability, I don’t know if I could break this thing; so far it has been dropped several times onto concrete, it fell from a horizontal stabilizer of a plane (about 30 feet) onto concrete, not even a dent. And bright enough to light up a tail number from 100 feet away. Well worth the investment if you use a flashlight on a daily, or even weekly, basis.
