   Every home needs A Stinger! You may be thinking lumens is what you want but, it’s candela power that counts. This is a perfect size for a general purpose household flashlight. Whether its a bump in the night or a lost dog, the Stinger floods a wide area with a very warm bright light. It will also reach out to extreme distance.

   I bought a few flashlights to compare. I wanted to be able to scan my woods. These pics show two streamlight flashlights. The Streamlight ProTac HL 5-X is much, much better for not too much more. The stinger is ok for a “household’ flashlight but even then I would not get it. The snap in charger is not user friendly. Snapping it in is a tight fit and I felt like I was going to break it

    I like the quality of the flashlight.. only negative about it is that it feels like you’re going to break the charger when putting it in, you have to use some force. Overall, i do recommend! I use it for automotive purposes.

    As an airplane mechanic you depend on your flashlight on a daily basis. Just let me tell you this flashlight has been through A LOT the past couple years and has proven to be extremely durable no matter what I have put it through. It wasn’t until recently the switch seemed to be intermittent (works some times/then other times it doesn’t). I followed the instructions on the streamlight website and sent it in to get fixed. Within a week it was back and practically looked brand new. They replaced nearly all of the components on the light. Now it works great again and I am extremely happy with this company and their customer service. Do yourself a favor and go with Streamlight…You won’t be disappointed
