   This is a nice flashlight. It is NOT LED. The head does turn to adjust the beam from wide to narrow. It has a nice even beam projection. It comes with an extra bulb in the tail cap. It is lightweight. Much lighter than the aluminum stinger that I own. This one isn’t as bright as the LED but pretty close. At a glance and at first touch it may seem cheap but don’t be fooled. This is a high quality flashlight that will last forever if not abused too badly.

   I’m a contractor and I’ve had the Stinger Streamlight (Poly) in daily use for a little over a month. It is compact and very very bright. As you read the manufacturer’s description, pay close attention to these two stats: ONE HOUR CONTINUOUS USE, TEN HOUR CHARGE TIME. That’s 10 minutes of charging for every minute you use the light. I usually need the light for about half an hour. That means every two uses, it’s out of commission again for 10 hours. I have to carry a mini MAG as a backup. The Stinger is bright, small and durable (it has survived a few hard drops), but it is totally impractical because of the fast discharge and long recharge. Save your money.

   although I bought these as a gift, I have a few I personally own. They are a great tough flashlight I like the poly version better as in cold weather they don’t freeze your hand.

   This is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. The warrenty is great as you can take it in to a streamlight retail store and they will fix it for free usually on the spot. It out shines any other light it’s size and usually better than lights alot bigger.
